Some may say we parked the bus, others would say that the team showed "character"! Whatever the terms, what a rudy great big bus it was!!
Given the season we've had to date, I'd happily park the team bus, the biffa bins and the Davy Lamp monument in front of the goal , if it meant blagging a result each week!!

Perhaps there is more to this football lark than you thought. It's a marathon not a sprint and you have to win it not let others lose it! It's a crazy game but great that anyone can beat anyone in a one off - makes it so much more interesting! Thanks Sunderland!

Well, I feel uplifted after watching that dross tonight. Poor quality peppered by poor performances. If we can concentrate on our form and results it's there for the taking. The only problem may be the officials if they are giving penalties like that. As for Mancini - you are a disgrace. hopefully the FA will have the guts to take some action. Leading starts from the top and if that is the example we accept being set then the future of the game is doomed. If kids did that on the park it would be unacceptable but a premier league manager?

I have to ask though, is Mancini the only manager who understands the value of his best players? He has managed to get an extra game out of Ya Ya, while Dalgliesh leaves Gerrard and Bellamy, who has just scored two in the previous game and with a point to prove, on the bench and then takes the Suarez ban early! Fergie meanwhile in the midst of our worst ever injury crisis leaves out our best player because he took his wife out for a meal! Its ok taking the moral high ground but who suffers when the points are lost, the fans thats who, so instead of being in front we are playing catch up again thanks to a self inflicted wound. Lets hope a few can climb out of the treatment room tonight.
Just to finish on an old topic, 700 below capacity again Dave, did the scousers fail to sell out their allocation?

It's been a crazy week. All in all everyone still capable of beating and losing to everyone else. Glad I've give up betting I'd be even more on my arse!!
