Fellas,
Just a topical point to open the weekends proceedings on, The Goodyear blimp that you see on Sky live matches that takes the overhead shots, well I thought it was the same one all the time, apparently not. The one at O/T has 'Yet another' on the other side to 'Goodyear' and the ones at the Etihad, Emirates and Stamford Bridge has 'Not such A' on the other side of theirs!

Chaddy,
Just having a nobble mate, may the best team win. As Sir Fergie has warned both Utd and City fans, get used to it as there will be plenty of title run ins, cup semis and finals between us both over the next decade. It will be brilliant and I am afraid that our illustrious London friends will find themselves fighting over the scraps.

Well Fellas,
Some brilliant stuff today, The premier league might be behind la liga at the moment for quality, but never in a million years for sheer excitement. When the dust settles however, the upshot is that the race for the CL places is going right to the wire between Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle. One will get CL one CL qualifier and two Europa league and I honestly cant say who will get what.
Now on to the proper serious stuff. Great comeback from the dead by City, but and its a massive but, you dont win titles losing at Swansea and drawing at Stoke then Sunderland at home. You can afford perhaps one slip up but not that many at such a crucial time. I hate saying I told you so (not really) but I have maintained all along that they would blow up at the business end and they have done just that. I was labeled Stupid for those views so a little contrition and humble pie would be most welcome from you gentlemen and no I am not being premature just supremely confident in my teams ability to close it out from here.
Cheers, Dakey

Oh dear.
Oh dear, dear, dear.
Does Manci still think the 30th is the game that will decide the title?
Forget squeeky bums, more like floppy buttocks.
Were any of you amongst those leaving early and then having to rush back in when Sunderland's concentration slipped? Apparently they were superb and bossed the game for 86 minutes - anyone who was there agree?
PSÂ Dakey - Off to Condado first thing tomorrow so will be watching our lads extend our lead from a bar over there - it just gets better and better!

Kev,
Now dont be winding Neil up in the Clover, he will be feeling a little fragile after losing the massive London derby to...........er, QPR! I suppose now that little revival from the Gunners has hit the buffers, its a good job their next game is a nice easy one against the deflated bitters to get them back on track. If you could pick anyone to play at the moment it would be City. Complete disarray would not be too strong a term for their situation at the moment would it?

Kev,
Sir Alex gave the bitters the moniker "noisy neighbours", I personally think that is very unfair.......... we have not heard so much as a whisper  from them for weeks now! Whats up all you bluenoses? cat got your tongues? when you were breaking all sorts of records there wasnt enough space on here to fit you all on. Call me what you like but I still post whatever the situation. Get over yourselves and let us know where you think it has all gone tits up, we are all waiting to hear with bated breath.

Fellas,
I am sat here wondering why no-one has posted after such a wonderful weekend of Premiership football, with the main dish still to be served tomorrow and I googled last seasons final league table to try and give me some insight on who is favourite for the CL places relegation and so on. Then it hit me like a punch in the face and I cant believe I have not spotted it before. If we did a league table over the two seasons to date ( if we win at Blackburn, I said if not when) we would be 14 points clear of City, 30 points clear of Arsenal, 32 points clear of Chelsea, 36 points clear of Spurs and a massive 56 points clear of Liverpool! and according to you expert pundits this is the worst Utd team ever. No wonder, apart from Kev, that I cant entice a comment out of any of you these days, you must be absolutely demoralised, its taken domestic domination to a level unprecedented anywhere in the world!
Cheers, Dakey

Well...begrudgingly you have to take your hat off to United! Barring intervention by divine spirit , it looks like they are on their way to another title, after a very good result for them last night.  United will be 8 points clear (they will beat QPR, unless aforesaid intervention takes place) before we kick off on Sunday, and the way we are currently playing, I think the best we can hope for is a point. We also Newcastle away, which will also be a tough game for us, and United at home, although I reckon we will win that one!
I'm not and never will give up on City, and they have played some terrific football this season,  and there may well still be some twists and turns before the finale, but being realistic United are in the 'box seat', and it's going to take some shifing, to get them out of it. Ferguson, whilst I cannot stand the man as a person, have to admire him as a manager, his tenacity, and how he get's the best out of teams, has to be applauded.....B*****d!
If twists and turns do take place, and City  by some slim chance manage to turnaround the picture, I will be one of the first to be on the site celebrating, but this is just to show some on this site , we are not all hiding, and can front -up to dissapointments (hell we are use to it). Mind you, don't get too settled, because we will be pushing you all the way in many year's to come, and no doubt there will be plenty more good natured sledging on this site, between the respective fans.

Have to say what a great night it was last night, atmosphere was banging, hats off to our lot we never stopped singing, was getting worried last 15 before we scored, thought Blackburn defended well and could have had a couple of goals but for the resurgent De Gea.
A bit of a mare for the majority getting back last night,  Can you believe only 1 x 3 coach train to ferry people back to Manchester after the game, Luckily I was in mates car so blagged a lift back to Crewe.
Roll on Sunday gotta keep the ball rolling.

The big girl is only just clearing her throat. Last night, for the first time this season, its mathematically not in our hands. We certainly have to win at Jay and Neils house now.
Surely the scraping of results can't continue til the end of the season
We now have the same amount of points that Chelsea finished second with at the end of last season. Dakey's lot won it with 80points last season????
I'd settle at the moment to be 2 [points behind las game of the season to play. Always a soft spot for the Mackems. (got 7 ex utd players on the squad and an own goal scoring machine in Wes Brown though)!!!!
Pray to Allah or your petrols goin up

Amazing, champions league quarter final week and its dead on this site. Well what a night of action again last night. You just dont  get that kind of excitement and heart tremors anywhere else. 1 goal and youre out, its that close! Well the chels have had a great run and far exceeded my expectations but i think we have now hit that brick wall called barca. Platini will make sure all the penalty decisons go their way - even if they dont need them. Now which team in the Uk does that remind you of!

Had probs with a new PCÂ and the internet connection over here but back on line now. After Tuesday no real football to follow this week. Saw Utd at the Steak Out on Monday night returning from a day out - full of Reds which was good. Saw Barca win on Tuesday followed by Chelsea (I thought unconvincing but wasn't really watching) and Real in the Clover on Wednesday. Basically everyone seems to be waiting for a Barca / Real final so little interest in CLÂ till then. Will be flying back Sunday so miss Utd - hope to land to some good news and then get in front of the TV to cheer on the Gooners!
Manky still offering some good entertainment but not much football related!
By the way - great over here now with the revitalised Clover and the Condado Club! Well done to those guys!

George,
The team from the UK that gets dodgy refereeing decisions on a regular basis is your own! ask Roberto Martinez! How can highly paid officials miss those offside decisions? a blind man could see them! Just like Drogbas offside a few years ago that won you the league, other wise we would be going for six on the trot now instead of a paltry 5 out of 6.

Oh the irony!!! And on the drogba offside isn't it convenient that red eyes forget that the man utd goal in that game was put in by the hand of macheda meaning it should have finished 1-0 not 2-1 to Chelsea, so the league was not won on an offside goal. Never let the facts get in the way of red propoganda. Just saying!!!

Neil, Jay,
Well done fellas, there was only one team in it, how it finished only 1-0 is a mystery to me. I can see this being the biggest points difference from 1st to 2nd places in the history of the Premier League. It will be nice if the Gunners can step it up next year and challenge again, if only to show the money teams that you need more than an open cheque book to build a successful team.
There will need to be a massive clear out at City starting with the manager and quickly followed by Balotelli. Gary Neville hit the spot when he said it was a circus surrounding the plonker and that every time he had visited a circus there were clowns! Classic no nonsense commentating, brilliant
