Kev,
I blame the education system, Dave is a successful businessman and even he finds it difficult to string a coherant sentence together, what chance have Chaddy, Tony and the like got to produce a credible debate in writing when their team gives them so little to articulate about especially when they can only converse in single syllable words. Lets hope there is a recovery of form from the London clubs next season, for although the 'diamond geezers' are every bit as thick as our laser blue friends, they are at least a bit entertaining.

Please don't upset our London chums. The gooners have a very important game I'm sure they want to win soon and I'd have to admit the Spurs have played some of the most entertaining football this season. None of the City fans on here say much that's credible as they generally just slip into bias or insulting vitriol but at least Dave raises his head above the parapet. On to Monday now when we must do the business but everyone is offering us the incentive. It's not just about winning the title now it's about making the next derby game meaningless which would be the ultimate.
I guess one day they will win the title again because you can buy most things eventually. If you give an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters and an infinite amount of time one of them will eventually rewrite the works of Shakespeare. But we can delay the black day for our game as long as possible.
By the way - well played Stoke, Wigan and Bolton today. That's what football is about.

Dave,
This is probably going to be a weekend to forget for you mate, after yesterdays slip up you have the unpalatable fact that Celtic will win the title today at Ibrox and I know that will really rankle you.
We all, here on this forum, like the banter and by and large it is all lively and passionate but friendly. I have seen a side of it on this oil platform over the last couple of days that is not nice from Celtic and Rangers supporters that I have never seen before at such close quarters. They absolutely detest each other with a vengeance and I am going to give the TV room a wide berth this lunchtime as I get the uneasy feeling that something nasty is about to happen. I hope I am wrong, but it also puts our own rivalrys in perspective and I sincerely hope we never descend to that sort of extreme almost tribal hatred.

I for one hope that the Manchester derby is the game that sorts out the title. I think it would be ironic if City won that game and did the double over Utd but failed to win the title.

Might be a possibility mate. With 12 games to go, we had a bit of a sweep in work to guess the scores in Utd and City's last games. I'm doing better with Utds!!!!!
I do have them not winning against Blackburn away, Everton at home and us.
I'd certainly take it now if we were 3 points down with 3 remaining
I've got a feeling Arsenal might be spoiling my easter weekend in London.
Could do with a couple of those "funny old game" scores. Maybe starting with Fulham

Dave, Shane,
The phrase "clutching at straws" springs to mind and that is exactly what you are doing. We very rarely have those unforseen results at this stage of the season and especially when we have worked so hard to first stay with the blistering pace that the bitters set and then be in a position to overtake them when the inevitable happened and their bottle dropped out. It is just a pity that the gunners are so far back that they cant catch them when they drop another 8 or 9 points before the end. An ironic ending for me would be for us to be so far in front that Fergie plays a reserve team against them and we lose 6-1 again. Now wouldnt that be amusing!

Lads just nipped on before the bar.
Love to see you back Dave always making sense but Dakey has got his gloating head on and as his team have produced in the prem he has the right.
Never got to admire the Chelski result in europe and at least they have kept us brits in with Arsenal falling just short.
Shane Shane ShaneÂ
you asked for help in getting 3rd back well you need it as Spurs at the moment couldnot win a goldfish at a fair. They have hit their bad patch at the wrong time, with Harry Off and now 4th in doubt it could be a massive let down of a season. If you fail to make CL AGAIN!!!!! then its not only bye bye harry but Bye bye Bail, Modric and a host of others who will all want top football at a top club in the CL and that may mean not Spurs.
I have been telling U all season that one run dont make a big club and it looks like you did not even make the end of the season never mind!!!!!!!lol
I did think u would come 3rd I must admit but 5th is what I think now!!!!
Lads
the Manchester title race is entertaining to us all and all I would love is for it to come down to the last game.

Neil,
I think we are due for some good fortune in the run in. I'm confident we'll finish 4th if not 3rd. And the bonus for us is that we can get a couple of new players as unlike some other teams they'll get a game.
Looking forward to trying out the bars in summer!!

Fellas,
As far as penalties are concerned if Stoke had been awarded one of the two stonewallers from last night then City wouldnt have even scraped the draw they eventually came away with.
I agree Chaddy, Michael Oliver is a bottle merchant! that was a blatant penalty......... how he missed the handball from Evras run and cross in the first half I will never know. Oh and Fulham had a bit of a late shout for one as well. 19 attempts on goal to 5 tells me that Fulham got what they deserved, nothing!
Not brilliant performances by either City or Utd, but we won and they drew and that, in squeakey bum time, is what it is all about, the result not the performance. Bring on the next installment.

Dave,
Typical bitter, trying to demean the goal of the season for some imagined offence just because it was against your team. Even Woody has admitted this morning that we are going to win it and that is as good as Fred Done paying out early on Utd.
