Kev,
Mancini, who has been made a laughing stock by his over rated prima donna squad, MUST as a prerequisite to retain any sort of authority start Tevez on the bench, then make him warm up along the touchline TWICE, before bringing him on. Then he can say he has got an apology and he made Tevez do what he refused to do all those months ago........... It will still make no difference to the outcome of the title race but he will at least have gained a modicum of respect.

Mancini has led prayers in the Chapel at the Etihad this morning, " Thank you O lord for sending us your revered prophet Mike Dean..... Truely he has provided hope where there is none, he has shone the light where there was only darkness and he sees deliberate handballs when the ball is smashed at someone from 2 feet! he surely is the laser blue messiah"
(only joking fellas, I actually thought it was a Pen) I would be more worried that you had to rely on someone who hates you and your club and the area where you live to pull you out of the brown stuff. I see Chelsea reverted to the Sh..e team that we have seen all year and who got AVB the sack. Stilll, keeps the pot boiling for a little while longer.

I agree I don't think the penalty should have been given - how it can be deliberate if someone blasts the ball at you from 3 feet or so away is beyond me. But you'd have to concede that your tactics were too defensive and City had by far the better of thegame. On balance they deserved to win and credit to them for battling a win. Awful to see the repugnant little mercenary back though.

I thought a draw a fair result. but hey ho, i hate mike dean, he sent off 2 against qpr and gave them a pen. he hates chelsea. now we have to be up fot it against spurs. arsenal will get 3rd.
but at least its a 2 horse race in the prem to keep the armchair punters happy!

Fellas,
Premier league managers get paid for making big decisions and sometimes I wonder what they are thinking. Citys' two centre backs are out so they are obviously going to be relatively weak there. Now call me stupid if you like, but I would have had Drogba and Torres up top with Sturridge in a free role just behind them to exploit that frailty and give it a real go. What does Di Matteo do? plays one up front and packs everyone behind the ball! has he not been watching City recently, everyones been giving them the runaround. Very disappointed at those tactics and Chelsea got what they deserved, Nothing!

You may have overlooked something Dakey????? Di Matteo was taking his team to the ALL TIME, BEST RECORD IN ENGLISH FOOTBALL, MOST CONSECUTIVE HOME WINS EVER EVER EVER!!!!!!!!!! FORTRESS BLUE CAMP
So why would Chelsea think they were going to change that?????????

Dave,
I have to give you that one mate, however the best home record for a season ever was last year when we won 18 and drew 1. lets see if you can match that in your 4 remaining home games. I have forgotten what they are but this new record can go with the other half dozen you were throwing about earlier in the season. I can see you and Woody on the South Stand with the rest of the blue muppets at the end of the season, scratching your heads and saying to each other, " All those records..... How the hell did that lot finish above us??????"
Cheers, Dakey

Dakey,
Records are all they have to talk about until they actually start winning trophies consistently. I have noticed how all the City fans on this thread, having suddenley come out of the woodwork (quote Rio), rarely make any intelligent comments on football or the matches. They use a lot of insults, capitals and exclamation marks but little else. Probably sums up their knowledge. Anyway, on to the next round. Hopefully Stoke's combative approach to the game will rattle a few cages and they get a result. Perhaps Mancini will underestimate his opponents again or they'll be tired - we'll see.

Big rio seems an intelligent sort. Pointed out that the title is in his own teams hands. If they win every game then the title is over Now correct me if I'm wrong???? You know what I'm going to say.... Isn't that the same for us???

Dave,
The balance has tipped slightly in that apart from the fact that , on paper at least, our fixtures are easier we are the team that needs a draw at the Etihad not a win unlike a few weeks ago when it was the other way round.
