The FA has this afternoon agreed to split the PREM into an away league and a home league with trophies for each winner along with the top 2 in each league to qualify for the Champions League.
Greg Dyke, the impartial ex Manchester United director and now FA Chairman stated that this was to ensure those with a divine right to dine at the top table could continue to do so.

I have had nothing to say about the last three weeks as I have been so badly let down and could not bring myself to comment on this forum.
SHAMEFUL...........is the only word I can think of that sums it all up.
As much as the manc's will hate this I would like it now if the mickey mousers went on to win the league as they are the only proper club left in the race. The noise they will make will be horrific but as they are not a petro-chem club I will applaud them. They held on to Suarez despite our derogatory +£1 offer and they have been excellent and he has been without doubt player of the season.
As for Arsenal its over for Arsene. Such a shame for a true Arsenal legend to wilt in the way that Cloughie went at Forest. It is without any doubt time for a change and for once I'm not alone in saying it!!
Even if we manage 4th and win the FA Cup it will not be enough for Wenger to stay now and it's written all over his face.
Thats it for me for a while.

Jay - 4th and winning the FA Cup isn't good enough for one of the other ''divine right to win things clubs'' that's the shameful bit I'm afraid, and I hope i never become like that if we have to ''put up with 4th, the FA Cup, 20 odd years of Top4 finishes, a fantastic stadium, debt being cleared rapidly etc etc'' take a chill pill and look at what you do have, even Dakey has shown a tad (not much) more realism this season.
I think a few years in divvy 2 and 3 might sort you out ........... oh, but you've never been relegated - ever !!

Is Jack Shit your new name for the domestic Champions v Champions battle otherwise known as the Community Shield? You know the one that is one place up the food chain to the Capitol One cup. You also know THAT one where you can draw lower division clubs and lower placed PL clubs, mainly at home so in other words you can win it really without any sort of stiff test.
Well done George, splendid display. I get the creeping feeling that this week is English week in the CL, Chaddy you might also have heard of this one where the best 8 teams in Europe battle it out from the last 8 stage with vibrant packed stadia cheering the teams on. Both the concept of vibrant packed Stadia and the last 8 are lost on your little club I am afraid.

You always have a chance against the French if you make it into a battle, it is not their strong point. The old saying of "going to War without the French is like going lion hunting without your mouth organ" is as relevant today as it ever was. Unfortunately for us the German mentality is completely different and they absolutely relish a challenge, so if we join you tonight in the Semis it will rival that great night in Italy when we came back from 2 goals down to inflict the first ever European home defeat on Juventus. Either way, I am going to enjoy the spectacle. Chaddy, enjoy your shopping trip to tesco.

That was a mercurial effort that just came up short. Cant complain as they are a top side but the Rooney chance from 8 yards at 1-1 was crucial and he didnt even connect properly. That is why he is not world class as players like Messi and Ronaldo gobble those chances up in the big games and Rooney comes up short in the really big games time and again. Small margins matter at this level and Wellbecks chance in the first leg and Rooneys tonight were the best two chances of the tie and you have simply got to take them against teams of Bayerns class.
Pep was asked why there was a big bank of empty blue seats on the far side and he said that after playing City he thought is was a pre-requisite when playing English teams.

Lets just look at it logically. City played both Barca and Bayern. They got murdered by both at home. They got murdered by Barca away as well and Bayern found it so easy after 2 early goals in Germany that they simply stopped playing allowing City to gain a small crumb of comfort bearing in mind this was the group stage and both were already through.
Utd on the other hand played them at the last 8 stage when there is no foot off the gas period, it is all or nothing. Now everyone can see that they are the best team in Europe but after the home tie and 3/4 of the away tie Rooney misses a sitter that in all probability would have taken us through. Now whichever way you look at it that is a far better effort than your, once again, feeble attempts at gaining credibilitiy at this level.
For a club that has invested vast amounts on the team with the aim of dominating both the PL and the CL if you dont win the league then that will be the funniest thing ever to have happened in football and our tribulations in our transitional year will seem small fry in comparison.

Due to us winning a trophy also, the community shield, a more prestigious one than your little tin pot cup we dont need your charity so thanks but no thanks. I would rather be relegated than play in the Europa league so I hope we lose another couple of games and stay in 7th place. I hope you are not saying that 7th will qualify for it.
If we do get in we will have the motivation to get to the 3rd round where we will then have the chance to draw City after they enter the comp following your now legendary annual failure in the CL groups.
