Fellas,
Just been reported that Utd have posted record profits of £111 million out of a turnover of £334 million, all earned income. Now EUFA, as you pursue your financial fair play targets, that is how to build and run a sustainable business model in the cut throat football world.

Dave,
The debt mountain is systematically being paid off and the 111 million profit is after paying the interest charges that our kind American owners have burdened us with and we are still the top dogs. You are getting closer but it has taken 1 billion to get you there.

Fellas,
Top executive at the bitters sending a vulgar offensive email to someone and mistakenly including the cancer victim mother of one of their players who no longer fits in with their master plan, who also just happened to be the subject of the email! What a fabulous club, sheer class from top to bottom.
I also see that Tevez now loves Manchester again once he has realised that absolutely no one else is interested in him. Lets see how long he can keep his ignorant mouth shut for this time.Â

Cook has resigned as the CEO of City after being exposed for the peice of garbage that he is...... cant understand the resignation though, he was at exactly the right club for his standards!

Forget about the scumbag cook now, he is history. There is no doubt that City have assembled a formidable team and a four game winning start with a record premier league goal difference would be all their fans had dreamt of...... That goal differnce though is no longer a record. We at Utd have also witnessed a dream start and from nowhere Fergie has produced a new exciting young team that is a delight to watch. This is going to be a season to relish if you hail from Manchester. Cant see much to shout about for our Southern friends, though it is still early days.

Sorry Dakey But Gary Neville is making a right tit of himself on sky. Good fullback...... shocking pundit. How he called the challenge on Zamora by Salgado not a penalty was a comic moment of stupidity. Surely sky can do better?? Jay

Steady start for Utd and City, although for a fleeting moment I was wondering if 1 Billion pounds spent would be enough at this level. I am a little confused though and I would appreciate one of Daves colourful excuses, 46,500 against Wigan and 44,000 tonight in Citys first match in the European Cup for 43 years. Over to you Dave, Why?? Doesnt the Stadium hold nearly 49,000?

Dakey - you really must stop picking on clubs smaller than yours !
Big game Sunday. Wonder if we'll hear from George? City have an easier weekend and should go top.

Kev,
I am not pickng on City, I just want Dave to state publically that no matter how successful they become on the field that they just do not have enough supporters to fill a 49,000 seater stadium on a regular basis. I know I am a thorn in his side but until he acknowledges that fact I will keep on at him. Have you seen the latest gimmick they have come up with to make the ground look full. On MOTD last week against Wigan there was a massive swath half an end wide seperating the Wigan fans from the City fans. This was obviously needed to protect people from the notorious Wigan hooligans (ha, ha). It had nothing to do with making the remainder of the Stadium look nearly full did it!
I am looking forward to sunday, not been out for a while, I have had a nightmare. I tore my cartlidge in my left knee about 6 weeks ago at work on the ninian south platform in the north sea. got medi vac'd off and had the keyhole surgery last week. 5 days later just as I was getting on my feet I fell down the back patio steps and tore the medial ligament as well as the cartlidge again in the same knee so I am on crutches waiting for MRI scan results and most probably another operation. The main problem I have is convincing the other half that I am on the sick and the job list has to be shelved for a while till I recover. I am really worried about her eventually choosing my care home!!
Cheers, Dakey

Jay,
Despite the long and sometimes bitter rivalry between our clubs,it gives me no great pleasure to see the terrible plight you are in at the moment. I fear you are in for a long hard season with very little light at the end of the tunnel. It looks like the end of an era and these things usually end up with the removal of the manager and a period of rebuilding. Cannot see any other way forward for you mate, Wenger looks like he has suffered about 20 deaths in his immediate family. I have never seen anyone look so glum. Someone needs to tell him that he is extremely well paid in a job that is supposed to be enjoyable, he can smile now and again and it might make a difference to his players.
By the way, is it really just me and Kev again and so early in the season? you havent all given up the ghost already have you.
Cheers, Dakey

Well Fellas,
It doesnt matter how you dress it up, the simple fact is that in the middle of september we have already beaten City, Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea! I have to say it does not look good for any of you at the minute, although I accept it is a long season and things can change in a heartbeat.
Do you think Rooney was taking the piss imitating Terrys european cup penalty?
We have already got a play off for miss of the season between Torres and Berbatov with my vote going to Torres. £50 million quid? bloody hell, that is a waste of money on the bitters scale. Anyway, dont worry lads its the carling cup next and we will play our second/third string so you may have a chance in that trophy.
Cheers, Dakey

Dave,
By the way, why have you suddenly gone quiet? I would like to hear your opinion on firstly the low crowds recently for big games at Eastlands, but more importantly your revised opinion on Jones and Young, who you were quite scathing about early on. I will revise my early opinion on Aguero now that I have seen more of him. He looks a class act but he has only scored against lower teams at the moment although that is not his fault. it will be interesting to see if he performs in the big games.
