Stinging!! Architects of our own downfall. Wenger got it slightly wrong today, the choice now defensively is who plays alongside The BFG he's earnt it and Arsenal would of not let in either of those super soft goals. We played average at best and still probably had the best chances but our defending from set plays today was abismal so those who are in league with the devil got the result and that is sickening . Fair play to pumpkin predator head as that was a good finish which surprised everyone especially me. The Chavs went potty because they new they got away with it. Jay :(

Gutted for you fellas, you played all the football again but the old defensive inconsistancies reared their ugly head again. Why did Wenger revert to basically the same defence that has cost you dearly the last few seasons? As for Chelsea, I put them as a rich mans Stoke or Bolton, all that money and they have reverted to winning set pieces and lumping it in to the big men! The young girls and boys in thailand will be partying tonight with george with all that love going around there for Chelsea.
One final observation, didnt Mourino get the bullit because his winning style was too boring? Am I missing something here as the present Chelseas football is twice as mundane as Mourinos Chelsea.
Have to go now and get my place for the big match. Neil it will not only be packed at O/T and the pubs, it is also packed on this Rig with Utd fans! We will try to give Spurs a pasting to make you guys feel a bit better.

Unlike you fellas, we lost to another properly run club so its a bit easier to take. I have not commented until now for two reasons, The first was that I was captivated all night by the Ryder cup and wasnt the otherwise average Poulter magnificent, that format transforms him into superman. The other reason was that I wanted to watch the action again for as good as Spurs were in the opening half hour I couldnt believe we lost that game, the second half performance was our best for about 5 years. I have to say that the great man has to take the blame for that one, he had one of his rare mad team selection moments. some of his highly paid staff around him need to tell him that as good as Scholes still is and as good as Giggs was you cant leave your younger midfield 'legs' on the bench and start with both of them in the premier league. He also has made reference to having a strike force comparable to the four in 1999, I have a message there for him as well. In 1999 he always picked two of them and had the other two in reserve on the bench, How he can justify leaving Rooney on the bench and playing one striker AT HOME is completely beyond me and most Utd fans. Why amass four quality strikers if you are not going to use them. In conclusion I see it as a slight hiccup thet we will learn from and both us and he gunners will regroup and come again twice as strong.

did you see the jellyman destroy the Saints on MOTD - what an absolute bargain at £5m , Moyes at his best !!!! Second place and still on the up ! L'Pool in a couple of weeks - maybe Suarez can get sent off in time for that one, he'd be the only one of that lot I'd worry about.
Agree Dakey that Poults was absolutely unbelieveable, he just doesn't know when he's beaten and having the Roar on your team certainly helps. It'll take a miracle mind you (well at least for the Yanks to stop holing puts - their putting is just is simply outstanding) for Europe to get close to them on Sunday, still stranger things (like Everton staying in the top 4 ????)

Saturday was a day recovering from a big Friday night out, so in work in the morning, off shopping early afternoon, then watched City via BBC Sport page, FT result published at 1-1, table updated, and I just thought ah well ''c'est la City typical'' is back. At least Warrington can still beat St Helens ..... I left the Manure game at 0-2 with spuds now defending for their lives.
Went to pick parents upto take to daughter's 18th birthday party, and overheard someone talking about the top goalscorer in the Prem in terms of point per minute, leave him on the bench, give him the last 10 mins and he scores, i thought nothing of it, took the parents home, went home meself and put MoTD on the sky+ and started the FF thru the drivel (Dakey you'd be at home with those muppets on the couch, as Dave says, utter drivelly drivel from drivel land).
Anyway, Manure on 1st and watching it i thought here we go again, the spuds can't hold onto a lead against a Manc club, but they did, so 1 point+ to us today, a draw at Fulham ain't that bad now i thought, paused it and watched Warrington beat St Helens, thinking not a bad day after all, back to MoTD and City, bemoaning poor reffing, nice pass and move football, but with poor finishing and lots of fannying around with the ball (it's like watching the Arse at the moment).
Brought on Dzeko, he scores and I'm thinking ''what's wrong with that goal then?'' ............. football, it's just full of surprises  
Now for 5 last minute winners in the Ryder Cup ............

Hey, what about my wee diddy team, the magnificent and majestic Cappielow Cavaliers, 4 wins on the bounce and now 3rd in the league! I'm getting dizzy spells and nosebleeds, not used to being this high up. We're far more used to scrapping it out at the arse end of the league.
And we've a preverbial 'six pointer' at home to the leaders next week, win that and we're officially promotion contenders! Well, for a week anyway.

Fellas,
For one night only I do not want to talk or debate about football. That golf was the best sporting spectacle I have ever watched, it had everything, passion, skill, sportsmanship, high drama, everything! I will never forget Phill Mickleson jumping around on the 17th with all the yanks going potty after his incredible chip nearly went in. They were convinced that was that only for Rose to complete a brilliant two hole finish to shut them right up. To think they didnt even get paid for it! What other top sportsmen would do that and perform so well, certainly no one at Chelsea or City thats for sure. ( sorry lads, couldnt resist that)

next time I'm on the 11th at Condado thinking 'can I hit my 5 iron over the water, pressure', I'll think of the 17th at Medina - now that was pressure, unbelievable ........ not good for the old blood pressure ............. so many great shots and hole outs and chips in, best sporitng event since Rideout score the winner in in 95 FA Cup final (remember that one Dakey ?) - oh my gosh that's how long it'sbeen for us, i'm depressed .............

What a weekend
The good , the bad and the ugly,
The bad was that again we managed to play a decent game and the defensive mishaps cost us.. need to sort it.
The good
George not on Condado to rub it in and the fanstic european comback on Sunday night, the place was buzzing best atmosphere that has ever been in the clover, packed to the rafters and the noise level when each putt went in was unbelieable.
The ugly spent friday and saturday on Golf weekend in Almeria, the rain put pay to it on friday so nothing to do but drink beer... ugly. sat got a game but more beer!!!!!!!!!!.
