Jay,
A deflection and an own goal, Costas shot was hitting the corner flag mate. Credit to Chelsea though they seem to have the edge without being anything great and it is up to everyone to improve and challenge. I think there will be a rare old battle for runners up between Utd, City and the Gunners and possibly Liverpool. Chelsea may be a tad better but the bitters are certainly not!

No wonder you only post when you win something. On a day when everyone at the bridge should be celebrating your first trophy for a while, the ugly head of racism rears its head yet again with another bunch of Chelsea fans ejected from a train for repugnant chanting. It is happening too often to be trivial or coincidental. I dont know what the answer is but if you banned all the fans involved your gates would be less than Citys and thats no mean feat.

After watching my club's victory over Middlesborough on Saturday everything went down hill when I put the car radio on. The animal antics of Millwall's so called supporters at Rotherham took centre stage when it should have been about the local games. Now it's Chelsea racist nob head so called supporters doing their thing again, I can remember the days when this sort of thing was settled within the club's support, I'm too old to sort out these idiots, but where are the likes of the club supporters 40/50 years ago, I'd have quite rightly recieved a smack, had I done what these idiots do for fun.  Â

No it's not, every club has it's idiots, Arsenal supporters chanting anti semetic crap at Tottenham supporters comes to mind. I'm minded to say this because today a Doncaster Rovers fan came on the radio today shouting the odds against SWFC supporters.
For Christ's sake, get a life.

It's all wrong and disgusts me.
But as far as I know we've never had a link to combat 18
I know a Chelski fan very well who was instrumental in outing the C18 members and recruiters in the early/mid 90's and according to him it was a real issue and ran very deep. He put his life at risk to do what he did and I for one had nothing but respect and admiration for him.Â
But here we are over 20 years on and......

I was banned for life from a Sheffield forum for taking on and outing leading members of the bbc (blades business club). What happened is that every time I posted on any section of the forum, they and their followers hit the report button, they were finally and very reluctantly banned for sending abusive pm's to other forum members, but soon returned using new user names.
** EDITED - Against forum rules ** that I've encountered were Man U so called supporters who had't got a glimmer of a Manchester accent, they occupied unsold home supporter's seats at away games and treat them as their own, I got one thrown out of Hillsborough for throwing a temper fit at home supporters for cheering when SWFC scored. Conversally we always got a good contingent of Man City supporters (with Manchester accents) seated around us in our premiership days, they were always very well behaved.
I'm aware of a despicable outfit called the OCS (Owls Crime Syndicate), these sumbags have no place in football, and as for Rotherham folk shouting the odds, they need to look at their own first, get the rose tinted specs off guys.

** EDITED - Against forum rules ** I would like to see some of these good mannered City fans as well, because watching their match tonight there are not many of them at games. Have you ever seen gaps in the stands like that at a so called contenders stadium before because I cannot remember seeing the like EVER anywhere and still the building work continues......Madness!!
Back to the football, we have had a regular debate on here about our woeful officials, but last night topped the lot. from offside winning goals at Chelsea, blatant stonewall penalties at the Etihad (2) not given for Leicester and even one not given at Newcastle for yet another stupid mistimed tackle by Smalling, the boys in black just get worse by the week and I dont know what we can do to improve it. These officials meet and analyse their blunders every week and then go out and do it all over again and it frustrates the hell out of me. The one good thing about last night was that Evans will get a lengthy ban for spitting and rightly so, that should mean that he doesnt pull on a Utd shirt again this season and that has to be a bonus.
Crunch time for us with a really tough run of games coming up, but it works both ways. We may just burst a few bubbles along the way.

What is required IMHO, is 6 on field officials, plus technology and a further 2 off field officials, all grounds should have a large screen monitor in order that the supporters can see exactly what the off field officials are reviewing. If they can't be educated into giving the correct decisions, perhaps they could be shamed into giving them.

Hi guys. Although I'm only a voyeur, this thread is the only reason I look at eyeonspain. Over the years there has been some brilliant banter...........Not any more. Why not stop all this bickering. Some of it seems quite evil and threatening. If it carries on it won't be long before the mods shut it down. And that would be a real shame. Get back to the friendly football banter please guys. My son and I missed one home match of SWFC in a nine years period, we were also both involved in local football, eventually we were both totally footballed out, I just wonder what the match attendance record of the forum faithful is or has been. Â
