Chaddy,

The liquid in those City glasses has a yellow tinge to it, what is it?

The question is that now we are back to near full strength will the points gap be enough for the rest of you to hold us off. On the weekends showings probably not. The next 8 games are crucial for everyone who has title ambitions. Being in touch for the last 10 matches is everything.

Dakey,

It's only called the 'Mickey Mouse Cup' by those that have been knocked out of it, Man Utd have won it 4 times as against Man City's 3, you have the bragging rights there. Even the once presigious FA Cup is not treat as seriously as it used to be, it's all about top places, Europe, survival and promotion to the Premiership, Liverpool however treat the League Cup (or whatever else it's been called) as their property, having won it 7 times, a bit like they do with the European Cup.

Hep,

Liverpools record of 4 European Cups will never be bettered by an English club as that trophy under those rules is no longer being competed for. However, Utds 2 Champions Leagues gives us bragging rights over everyone else in England as does our 2 World club cups that no one else has won. In fact Liverpools 5 excursions into that competition has resulted in 5 defeats.

On a more positive note following FA Cup weekend, we might have found a worthy successor to the legendary Howard Webb.

The only Yolk that City fans see is the dried egg stains on the front of their unwashed City shirts.

Statistics, statistics and damned lies comes to mind, however Man Utd's late penalty has saved us Owls from decades of folk law and songs from the blunts about their heroic draw at Old Trafford. laugh

Hep,

Damned lies is a bit harsh mate, everything about my last post (as in all my posts) is 100% factual. The only thing I omited was I never mentioned the tomato sauce down the front of the City shirts along with the dried egg stains.

You owe us one then for saving you all that blades grief.

Dakey,

You are not familiar with the theory of the persuasive powers of statistics then. wink

Well, that was really boring wasnt it? How have we not won that game, apart from the Newcastle penalty given even though Mitrovic had Smalling in a headlock!! Shipping 3 goals though will have King Louis shutting up shop again.

Dakey reminds me of Captain Edward Smith standing on the bridge of the Titanic saying, "iceburg, what iceburg?"

Chaddy,

Its easy to be critical of opposition, I mean we have beaten Liverpool and also Everton away 3-0 this season. Remind me what did the red scousers do to your sorry bunch? never mind that you have had 2 goes at the blue scousers in the past week and got nowhere near a win. Now that is a HA HA HA HA finish to a post.

Flipping heck! They are now blaming the traffic over at the Emptierhad for the vast swathes of empty seats. I honestly didnt notice any difference from other home matches. Why cant they just come out and say they cant fill the ground but that they are trying every trick in the book to improve gates. They would then garnish some respect for being truthful and we could then put it to bed.

And Man Utd should have scored 6 against Newcastle, I'd rather go for the traffic excuse. wink

Well we're bound to lose a home match eventually, let's hope that it's not today, against everyone's favourite club. cheeky

Thats football Hep, We played really well at Newcastle and drew. The big picture is that we have just played two of the hardest away games and collected 4 points, narrowing the gap on the leaders. 7 points at this stage is nothing. I am not going to say who will do what etc, but I said it before the aim in the next 6 or 7 games is to be in a position to mount a challenge with 10 games to go and squeaky bum time clicks in. One thing for sure after that nightmare December no one can say our squad lacks bottle, it would have been very easy to chuck it in but the lads have rolled up their sleeves and got back on track. Long may it continue.

I wont mention the empty seats yesterday at the Emptierhad again, I think it was the snow this time as the traffic has eased somewhat.

Watching Rojo, Carrick and Jones in with the fans in the away end at Anfield was heartwarming. How many other clubs have squad players who are not selected or injured doing that? I remember Hererra doing it earlier in the season as well. It is easy to see where the team spirit comes from.

Just a thought if it catches on, with City buying practically every player who has ever laced boots and then paying them so much that they cannot sell them on.......if the club instructed the players not selected to go and sit with the fans, hey presto....no more empty blue spaces. No need to thank me Chaddy for giving you a solution to your lack of support.
