I am not sure how to look at the record of 4 winning games from losing positions, loads of bottle to come back or crap to be behind 4 times in the first place. Quite pleased you got the winner for obvious selfish reasons, I dont think the bitters will have the bottle to counter that sort of intensity and I can see you winning easily and that will be after they have dropped points in the preceding three fixtures. Football can change in a heartbeat, but at the moment it looks like you will be our main challengers next season and will be worthy runners up.
By the way, I was wrong about RVP............ he would be 6th choice behind Berbatov and Owen as well!
Did you hear that after 2 victories De Mateo has been offered a rolling 24 hour contract by Abramovich

2 dodgy penalties in the chelsea manure game and 5 minutes extra time in the arse newc game wiht the goal coming in the 5th minute of extra time. the trainer was only on for 30 seconds. he is a disgrace.

Time wasting by that gormless looking goalkeeper attributed to at least 2 minutes of that and then there was 5 subs at 30 seconds a pop and then 30 seconds because webb hates chelski and spu*rs.
Looking forward to the chelski game at the grove big time. But in the mean time if you could manage to draw with sp*rs that'll do nicely.

Fully deserved win. Newcastle only played for the first 15 mins or so. I actually thought Webb had one of his better games which was surprising given his normal Chelski bias. Keep it going at least for another couple of weeks. Looking forward to next couple of nights footie. Hopefully Everton can twist the knife in Liverpool tonight and leapfrog them and then Chelski bow out of europe tomorrow. Normally I'd want them to get stuffed but hopefully they'll win but just not by enough. Want them to keep their spirits up to beat the runners up in waiting.

I'm amused Mancy thinks everything hinges on the derby game now. Looking at the fixtures we might be away and gone by the end of April to the point where we might be resting a few.

There is a god after all, my boss sent me and Woody (and his ten newest city shirts) up to Aberdeen on Sunday then out on monday for a 3 week job on the GP3 floating platform, just as Utd go top. He is absolutely distraught, I think he is going to jump off the side and try to swim home as he cant get away from me. Happy days.
He said for you to come and rough it in Mary Ds' for a pint before the game next time he is home, but I have told him you move in upper class circles these days due to your massive wealth and you would be unlikely to drink with the serfs.

Missed the dodgy pens at your place. The only dodgy pen I remember in games between our sides was Terrys in the CL final (still lol at the very thought). o remember when dickhead Webb didn't give a goal after your keeper saved Giggs shot over the line in the cup final a few years back though.
What's it like seeing your club go down the sewer despite the millions the Russki criminal keeps piling in (just thought of £50m for orres - lol again!). If they hang on to the old guard any longer they really will be the Chelsea pensioners - they're certainly playing like them!
Stop having a go at Dakey - he's the only one on here apart from me that takes a fair, balanced view of games and talks sense.

sorry been away busy with the pub.

Happy day are here again spurs are losing , Liverpool have gone. Newcastle also out I think and Chelski look crap.
Thanks to all the teams that finally gave me my wish and beat Spurs looks like they are foulding and this will only hasen Harry's departure.
Dont think anyone will put money on Spurs coming 3rd at the mo league will prob end up with the the Manchester twins at the top and the red and blue of London 3rd and fourth so no change after all.
I love the way that Manchester keep trying to give the title to each other but neither good enough to take it.
4 wins on the bounce is looking good and although the defence still looks ropey the fight and sprite in the side is showing that the will is still in the players.
Last little winge City again up to their tricks making wage offers in the press to unstettle players before the season ends or they have permission to approach a player in contract. Nasari and Clichy last year now Van Persie. You lot may have Loads of Arab money but not alot of decency. At least it proves the the multi million front line you already have is not good enough
Anyway your new mad portugese manager will liven things uip next season whoever he ends up with.

Got to agree about the bitters poaching your players without even trying to hide it, shameful. Never mind, you will be able to teach them a salutory lesson shortly.
Dont quite understand your logic on us trying to give the title to each other, we have just won 7 and drew one of the last eight including wins against Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and a draw at Chelsea. Norwich away is no gimmee either. We have turned it around to such an extent that we are now odds on favourites when a couple of weeks ago you couldnt get odds on City. I know it hurts mate but give a bit of credit where it is due and then look forward to making a fist of it next year if you can keep your players out of the grasping clammy fingers of that detestable club.

In my last post I asked for Neil to give us at Utd some credit, so I am going to take my own advice. It matters not what I think of Chelsea and how they are in the position they are in as that is well documented and I am not on my own in despising it, but that performance tonight can only be described as outstanding and I take my hat off to them for it. Both Arsenal and Chelsea have hit top form and as enjoyable as it must be for you supporters, it is a nice little brucie bonus for us reds as the bitters, who are already flagging against average teams must be absolutely bricking it at the prospect of meeting you both. Keep it going for a little while longer lads, you know it makes sense!

I always suspected that being a premier league manager was a lot easier than it is made out, the poll published yesterday that shows 2/3rds of them think that City will win the league confirms my suspisions. What planet are they on? a dead moth with no head would struggle to come to that conclusion given the recent evidence! unbelievable.

Funny game indeed.
I remember saying awhile back it would be the ultimate irony if Chelsea bombed out in the league playing poorly but somehow managed to get hold of their Holy Grail in the CL.
With the draw they received you never know....
