George Just to be clear - did you even bother to watch the match? It seems you don't bother doing that given the standard of your comments. And is it lonely being the only Chelsea sympathiser on here? At least Dakey, Neil, Jay and I have some company in the sharing of views. So,
Wayne has come out and said he will not direspect the club, fans, team or current manager by asking for a transfer, but at the same time he is still angry with Fergie for saying he asked for a move when he did not...... Exactly as I have been saying all along. He doesnt want a move, he wants to become Utds leading goalscorer of all time which will take him another 3 seasons. End of story, but am I the only one to think he has behaved with considerable dignity and class throughout the whole episode unlike certain other players we could name who have openly agitated for moves in the last couple of years. Well done Mr Rooney, now get your head down and do what you do best, leading Utd to glory.

Much of it was just wind up from Mourinho to try to unsettle us before last night's game. He has pursued Rooney as a target quite publicly and without any ethics. Exactly what you'd expect. As if anyone would want to leave Utd for that rabble! Wazzer will be there for a good while yet we're on the verge of another great era.
ps anyone seen anything of Chaddy or is he still in Wales?

Dakey I thought you were a bit sharper than that mate but obviously I've misjudged you. If a player under contract directly asks for a transfer whilst under that contract they suffer all manner of financial penalties like win bonuses and other such bonuses written into their contract. That's why so many players behave the way that Rooney and the skunk do. They indirectly make it clear that they want out without the actual transfer request being made so they can escape without penalty. This story aint over. Jay

Its not fair on the business owners telling everyone on an open forum about your intention to visit our resort. The place will now be like a ghost town ( or a home match at the Emptihad) untill the 8th Sept. I can see a few lawsuits flying your way from disgruntled business owners for loss of revenue!

Nicely through last night and yet again our Welsh Wonder is running the show. What a revelation he has been all through the pre-season and first few games. A slight pull might make him doubtful for Sunday which is a shme.
Now it's time for Arsene to pull his cheque book out and get the three/four players we need to stregnthen the squad and make us fully equipped for this season. From what I have seen so far from the competiton I'm not impressed and think that a positive/motivated and confident gunners can give all of you a pasting if we add to the squad now.
The villa game was disappointing but as much down to a reffing disgrace as much as anything else and possibly came at the right time to kick us up the jacksie!!
Anyone still stupid enough to think the Sp*ds will come above us??

Like jay was impressed at the way we controlled the game and Ramsey is looking good... Just worried that lastminute . Com buying will land us with some of the crap we have in the past. We need a couple of quality players and some squad boosters so fingers crossed.

I could say the same about you for continually, season after season, saying Utd are average and wont win anything and season after season being proved wrong. Now that could be classed as really really stupid, but I dont want to get into that merry go round of tit for tat nonsense. Neil seems to have a better handle on things as far as the gunners are concerned and my question to you which requires an honest answer is this. If I had told you before the transfer window had opened, and knowing that you had good money to spend, that 5 days before the window closes you had bought not one single player and had sold quite a few.... What league position would you have said that Arsenal would finish in? Never mind Spurs for a minute, My prediction of 4th in those circumstances would have been welcomed by you with open arms I am sure.

You utd boys are barking!!
As a lifetime Gooner top 4 is never enough. The reasons for our under achievement over the last few seasons are well documented and well understood by our loyal and very patient fans. What the club has achieved off the pitch is unmatched or rivalled by any of you but now is the time for that investment in our infrastructure to pay back the dividends of success to the fans. If that does not happen this season then changes will be enforced. Not changes dictated by the board but changes demanded by the fans. We have the best stadium and facilities in the UK and the team, board and manager need to match the stadium and the fans from this point on.
If not then there will be tide so strong that that Yankee Doodle twat at the top will wish he never got involved. The stakes are clearly defined and there's no hiding place for any if them. The money is there the basics are in place and now the icing needs to be added.
It's the most critical season I have ever seen in 38 years of following my club. I'm optimistic that if we get the players this week that we need ala Mata/Ozil kaybe et al then we'll make a proper dent in all your aspirations. If not things will get nasty and not like your pathetic green and yellow effort but proper nasty!!
As for your achievements I ain't impressed we gave you title last year by selling you the skunk and prior you were done by the money men down the road. Sir Red chops ain't as stupid as you and knew when to get out the writing has been on the wall for at least 4 seasons and due to other clubs ineptitude and I include us to a degree you're average side has got past the post.

If a souless modern 'bowl', a larger version of the Emptihad floats your boat then fair enough, personally I think you lost your soul when you moved out of the classic football stadium Highbury trying to compete with us financially. We stayed true to our traditions and history and built a new stadium piece by piece on our coveted historical site and it is a proper stadium much larger than your 'Athletics type' stadium and looks and feels like a football stadium.
By the way, I got called stupid for putting you 4th and everyone since has put you 6th. I think it is because we all put spurs to finish above you that has got your hackles up, do you really think you will finish above them, honestly?

I don't have to think it when I know it!! Old Trafford's a lop sided Lego and stickle-brick affair and I know where I'd rather watch my football but that's a personal choice. Not ever going to your site I assumed you'd never been to our gaff either!!! You should of given me a shout and I'd taken care of you with some good old fashioned holloway road hospitality;) There are plans afoot to redesign the clockend slightly and adjust the ticketing to allow season ticket holders of a like mind to stand/sit together allowing the lot from either the north bank or clockend the chance to get back together where currently they are dotted about all over the place which is a massive step in the right direction for us fans. We'll also stick the away fans up top ala st James park which will help.
