Dave,
Let me try to spell it out to you in simple terms so you will understand.
Firstly Utd, We are playing the best football we have played for years and its a pleasure to watch. We have kind of stumbled on to the system brought about by a couple of things. We have been poor at the back due to long term injuries to at least three of our centre backs lasting over a year, but the signing of RVP coinciding with the emergence and development of Wellbeck and Chico means that our 4th choice striker is better than your or anyone elses 1st choice and we can now say to the opposition "you score 3 and we will score 4" and more fightening for everyone else is it is going to get better still.
Now where do I start with the bitters. When Utd first won the league in the early nineties after a long wait it was like a big weight had been lifted and the football for the next few years was free from pressure and scintillating. We all thought that would happen at City but because most of the players are only there for the money, dont care about the club or area and in fact hate everything about Manchester it is not happening there and you are scraping results against average small teams merely due to the fact that your players on paper are better quality due to the money spent on wages. It would appear, with the massive gaps on the terraces evident in recent games, that the fans are becoming disillusioned with the trappings of fame as well. I get the impression that the small loyal band of blue brothers have slowly come to the conclusion that winning things by buying it is not really all its cracked up to be and I think more and more of you hanker after the good old days where you were everyones whipping boys but you stuck together through thin and thin and everyone liked and respected you because of that.
That is just the opinion of a detached unbiased observer Dave, nothing more and you really have to be a bit more constructive in your arguments than just spout the word "drivel" when you have nothing to counter me with.
Cheers, Dakey

Dakey Not brilliant football today mate but I'm pleased with the result and found it hilarious viewing. Two of them off and really after that the ref bottled it as he should of sent Ramirez and Mikel off as well. Still two off will do and maybe some more of the same on Wednesday with a few of your mob getting sent down the tunnel this time. (Have to say that in the interest of balance) Chelski unbeaten no-more! Also a well offside goal to boot!! Haha Jay ;)

I know Dave I've gotta be honest I'm still a little bit surprised at that based on performances but sign of good team I suppose mate. Long long way to go yet for all teams but one things for sure Arsenal need to invest in more firepower or we'll be well short of even the top four based on what I witnessed up the grove yesterday. ;) jay

Dave,
Yes, unbeaten (apart from getting trounced in practically every cup game) cannot understand why you are still below us!
Now that is what you call a football match Dave, it had everything, including a full house. We got a bit of luck with the marginal offside, but if we hadnt got that one we wouldnt have taken our foot off the gas and scored again anyway. We have been on the wrong end of some diabolical decisions at that place so I make no apology for getting a break this time.
In a pulsating match at 2-2 Young was right through on goal, so Chelsea can have no complaints on that red card and before we debate whether Torres should have been second yellowed for making a meal of Evans challange, there should have been nothing to debate because his first yellow card was a straight red any day of the week! Studs up in someones chest is a red card simple as that. I also think that our two penalty shouts that were turned down evens out the offside goal anyway, so yes all in all a well deserved win. That is the stuff Champions are made of, In the back yard of the unbeaten champions of Europe and coming away with the three points. Bring on Wednesday to see if our reserves can repeat the trick. Our new motto lives on " You score two and we will get three"

Didn't watch it and didn't know there had been a controversial goal. Will see it on sky morning news If you were on in our back garden Dakey I'd shut the curtains. Full house???? Big crowd???? Must've been at a different stadium.

"You reap what you sow".
Never truer words than for today's game.
£50million worth of player should have been off in the first half.
Utd should have had two stonewall pens.
Chelski lucky another 2 or 3 mercenaries didn't get an early bath.
With all that luck you think they'd win but no, you do reap what you sow.
Looks like another 3 horse race with Spurs as outsiders.

Dakey and Co!! you now have a 13th man in that arsehole Clattenberg, what a shambles of a referee's performance that was  sure Man Ure started well, but come on even with 9 men we had your lot  on the back foot!! i predict Man Ure will win exactly the same  sweet FA as they failed to win last season and have every confidence that with a level playing field minus Clattenberg and Howard Webb Chelsea will prevail!! roll on Wednesday and a decent , honest Ref .
adios amigos
pedro.
p.s. with a proper striker, it will be a case of eat my dust and this will happen in January so be warned  xÂ

Youre wasting tour breath pedro. man u fans are so blinkered they cant see the truth from reality. . howard webb was a joke in last years 3-3 and clattenburg was equally awful this time. the real shame is the morons who run football are dinosaurs like dakey (which colour are you today dakey lad!) who refuse to bring football into the 21st century. Un fortunately it makes the beautiful game a complete joke. It was ok in the days before slo mo and all the techo bits that sky have come up with but there is no reason for football to continue to live in the dark ages.

Utterly appalling decisions from clattenburg. We had him at west brom last week and both sets of fans booed him in unison. Football is back in a pretty hateful place at the moment. The bile from the terraces is getting worse. A lot of people care more about the negatives of other teams than having any inclination about the truth of their own teams. Clattenburg had a terrible game. It happens but it also means a lot to the victims

I will only comment on the substitution as i thought it was a masterstroke by Sir Purpleface.
He realised sometime ago that his once so called star player has been looking jaded for a couple of seasons and was no longer making the correct choices for the team and was becoming a hindrance whilst living on past glories, and just like the decisions to get rid of Stam, Robson, Ince etc, that it was finally time to look to the future and break with the past.
For that you have to give Old Sour Face some credit for the decision to replace Webb with Clattenburg.

For once Fellas I am in almost total agreement, Clattenberg was dreadful...... Two absolute stonewall penalties ignored, Torres only booked and not sent off for a Bruce Lee studs up kung fu kick to Cleverlys upper chest! the last time I seen something like that it was Cantona on that palace fan and he was banned for eight months! George, you cannot blame Clattenberg for the winning goal, it is the linesman that gives or doesnt give those and he was both unsighted by the keeper and Chico was too quick for him and the defence.
Now, we have all been saying for some time for officials to come down hard on the cheating divers, so the fact that Torres flung himself to the floor theatrically after the merest of touches is exactly what we all want punished severely, so it is not good enough fellas to bleat about it when a referee decides to act just because it is against your team and maybe Clattenberg was looking for a reason to send him off after not doing so earlier.
Finally George, you aim to do something about your perceived striker problem in january? So what you mean is a £50 million pound striker Torres and the up and coming protege Sturridge are not good enough so you are going to splash out even more of your owners money, i.e. UNEARNED INCOME on replacements. That is exactly why practically everyone hates you and the bitters with a passion as your sole answer to problems is the unearned income chequebook and that my friend is very easy for the few in that priviledged position but earns absolutely no respect from anyone outside your own little clubs.

Amongst your drivel and red sightedness your getting worse.
Ruud van nistelrooy's new offside laws, foe totally bamboozling footie fans
"How could the mexi peanut ever be on side after going off the pitch"?????????????????????????????? Once he re-enters play, he can have no involvement in the play without remaining offside. He must wait until another phase of play.
PRETTY BASIC FOR AN EX PLAYER DAKEY

Got agree with Dave both UTD and the Gooners got away with goals that were offside but heho we all know that these decisions go for and against you evenly across a season. You are right the linesmen are the ones that have to get that bit right but it aint always that easy. We got away with it and the Sousers didn't that will no doubt be reversed next week or sometime in the near future.
Totally agree that Clattenburg did a good job and that Torres should 've walked 20mins earlier for the Karate effort so what's wrong???
Would like to know the ins and outs of the chelski accusations towards Clattenburg.............. (oh the irony!!!!)
Got mention the chelski and everton boys hurling coins.... a throwback to the bad old days gone by, mind you if you're chelski hurling coins in one way or another is the ethos of the club and Abramovich probably leaves one on every seat for fans to throw!!!

Jay,
Good stuff mate, for once I am going to feel a pang of remorse when we sort you out at weekend. I am getting quite fond of my second team the gunners.
Dave, for a businessman you really are an uneducated oaf sometimes. When you deliberately leave, or are sent from, the field of play because of say treatment for injury you have to wait for permission to come back on. If you leave the field of play when your momentum takes you over the line due to chasing a ball or tackling an opponent you just pick yourself up dust yourself down turn around and get back on the pitch. NO PERMISSION NEEDED! it happens dozens of times in every game. Have a little think mate before commenting, it really does help stop you from appearing stupid! So, a message from a very good ex player to someone with two left feet who has never kicked a ball in anger at any level...... listen and learn my friend!
