Look forward not back. Let the fact that we've been knocked out of the CLÂ more often by bent officials than by other teams motivate us for next year. We've achieved our first priority of restoring the PLÂ to its rightful home so now we can concentrate on sorting the Europeans out. Sit back and watch the bunfight between City, Arsenal, Spurs and Chelski for just 3 places in next year's competition. I'm almost tempted to ask Fergie to let Arsenal and Chelsea beat us in the coming weeks to see if they can catch the Bitters. On the other hand perhaps not.... Come on Basel in the European Losers Cup!

Kev,
I am sick to the back teeth of bent/incompetent officials and watching Chelsea last night we saw yet another example of that vividly. Never mind that it is the LOSERSÂ cup, Chelsea have one foot in the final due to a goal from a man who should have been despatched to the dressing room to face a long ban. Luizs over the top tackle that bent his opponents leg like a banana is exactly the kind of tackle we are trying to outlaw as it is a carreer ender, not outlaw attempts to win the ball with a foot slightly higher than usual like Nani!! Disgraceful!
Chaddy, Just to jog your memory, We drew away at Real with an away goal and could easily have won the game. In the home tie we were in front with over an hour gone and De Gea didnt have a shot to save. Reals two goals to win the tie came when we were unjustly down to ten men, so your continued assertion that we were fairly beaten by the better side just doesnt hold water in any unbiased scrutiny. Thats as ludicrous as Mancini saying City are better than UTD! absolute nonsense and everyone knows it.

Nice one chelsea, one team in europe, theres only 1 team in europe
And dakey re dodgy refs, did you see that penalty decision- what a joke. azpi  got the ball .
And did you now watch the liverpool game where 2 players should have gone. so dont give me that chelsea get the rub, man u get all the rub in the uk where fergie rules the refs, its just that he doesnt invite the euro refs to his little tea parties!!!! The Fa should cetainly look into that because it is corruption pre and simple.

Chelski should have had 10 men for a good period and would probably have lost as they were pretty much outplayed anyway. Luis' tackle was horrendous and for him to stay on to score the winner is appalling. The officials are bemusing - they book a player for nothing and then let leg breakers go without punishment. I'm surprised Chelski have any luck left the amount they had last season in Europe.

Kev,
Be fair, Chelsea have worked hard to get in this position, They battled manfully last year to finish outside the top 4 which takes some doing when you have spent what they have, then this year they have failed abysmally in the CL group to set up their current run so they have effectively qualified twice for the same competition by LOSING! That is why it is known as the LOSERS cup. It is comparable to a runner in the London marathon finishing with the best time... outside of the elite group of runners and while it is very satisfying for that particular runner, it means absolutely nothing and counts for nothing to all the elite runners and everyone else. Ask yourself Kev, if it was any sort of competition why have Utd never won it? that just about answers it mate.

Nothing chelski have ever done under their Russian criminal owner counts for jack shit because not one of their competitors gives them any credit for it. I have said it many times, they can accumulate as much as they want with it having no bearing on anyone but themselves. It must be all so hollow for them. I would feell sorry for them but on top of their hiddious owner they have got such abhorrent bunch playing for them and then there's the fans..........which I can't even begin to describe.

Jay dont worry, we feel exactly the same way about your french outfit. whatever have your lot done for england. nice to see john terry realising england have a centre back crisis after rio's laughable i will play for england, oh no i wont charade.
much as people may not like JT as a person he has never put a foot wrong for england and after the fa made themselves a laughing stock overturning a court ruling it is nice to see him  realise england need him and put himself back in the frame for engerland- unlike that tw#t rio

George,
He has declared himself available for England just so he can get a game as even the hapless Rafa has seen through him and wont pick him for the big games as he is a liability.
On the RIO front, why on earth should he play for a useless manager who had decided that he wouldnt select him for FOOTBALL reasons when the greatest manager of all time picks him for all the BIG games. That is what pissed RIO off most of all when everyone could see he is our best footballing centre back and it was because he wouldnt pick RIO and the odious limited Terry in the same squad. Why on earth would he jeopordise his first team status at the Champions to play for a bunch of no hopers led by a serial clueless no hoper? it is a no brainer mate and all of Hodgsons making.

Just watching the first half at a half empty morgue like Emptihad and it has just dawned on me that the FA must be absolutely gutted about the two finalists in this years FA cup. They can usually hike the prices for the final but with these two teams, City and Wigan, they will have to give away about 30,000 tickets free and offer free hotel rooms, retaurant meals and drinks just to get anywhere near a full house. It is the nightmare pairing for the FA and it wouldnt surprise me if they changed the rules to stop it happening again. what sort of a showpeice is it going to be with empty seats all over the place?
On a positive note I dont know who it was for but credit must be given to the City fans. That was an impeccable 45 minute silence, they showed great respect for someone! Who was it?

Chaddy,
I think you will find that we will be there in August (that is this year is it not) against Wigan!! to claim the first trophy of the season. Looking at that picture of the Emptyhad, it appears that your fans have either set off early or could I be correct after all when I say that there are just not that many of you in the first place.

Looking forward to this afternoon. It should be interesting with Utd going for the points record and us really needing a good result. After yesterday the pressure has lifted a tad but still all too play for. Have you ever seen two more fortunate goals than the sp*rs goals yesterday Wigan scored an own goal and that hash up between the keeper and the centre back was proper Sunday league crap is everyone lying down for them??? I 'll be in there bang on 4.00pm and NOT ONE SECOND EARLIER THAN THAT. It's gonna ferocious down there today. C O Y G Jay

You lot were on the beach 1st half and we mangalated you but for one poxy mistake from a full back who has been struggling for 2 years. It's time for the Essex boy from Loughton a proper Gooner born and bread to step up and make you pay next season. If only we'd spend some money and compete. Which we might do if we qualify!! Mind you the money will be our money not some bankrolled bollox from Arab land or Russia or a mortgage from New York !
You bunch of .... ****'s

Jay,
I can just see Wengers team talk, " come on lads, these have been on the piss all week and the last thing they will want is a high tempo game with the boots flying, so lets get at them from the off " and thats exactly what happened, but for all your endeavor and our lethargy in those opening 40 minutes we still had the 3 glorious headed chances to punish you. I think overall a draw was a fair result and its no use mentioning yet again those poxy officials, if a linesman looking right across cant see that offside then there is no hope for anyone. We have had some absolute shocking decisions lately but no one mentions them (except me)
