Well Fellas,
Despite having to contend with an astonishing 42... YES FORTY TWO injuries before the end of November, we are now firmly entrenched in the top four looking up not down with forwards scoring goals and defenders keeping clean sheets. The long term plan is gliding along nicely and Chelseas lead has begun to be whittled away.
Now, it looks like Kevin Friend likes to be known as Chelseas friend. A blatant deliberate forearm smash into Browns face just after he tried to kick O Sheas head off and he gets only a yellow card!!?? I am all for centre forwards being competitive, but that man is a train crash waiting to happen. Once the refs get clued up on his little nasty tricks, I can see him getting sent off every other week.

Nice to see chelsea's lead at the top extended but would have been more if that incompetent ref had given 2 more blatant pens similar to the 3 we should have had at manure. When will refs stop bottling those crucial pulls in the box from corners free  kicks etc.

George,
A bit like the 6 appeals we had turned down in the first 3 games and that diabolical decision by clattenberg that let Leicester back in a game that was over. If we had got those we would be a lot closer to you than we are so stop whinging. Like I said, Southampton will settle back into mid table, it is only a matter of time and the Manchester clubs will be hot on your tail come the end of the Xmas fixtures. If the refs did their jobs properly Costa would be banned for about 10 games. "A good old fashioned centre forward" my Arse! He is a petulant thug and you have gone from Drogba who perfected the art of going down when hit by a feather to a GBH specialist, the sooner he is packed off back to the backwater he slithered out from the better.

Thats right George, I predict that southampton will not maintain their position and will eventually settle in mid table..... and you very observantly confirm that is what is happening. Try and make a few predictions yourself without my help and without the benefit of hindsight.
Again with hindsight and considering the FACTS. I would unbiasedly say that UTD have been the team of the season so far. No other team with 42 injuries to the squad already would be anywhere near the top four and I would offer that with a similar amount of injuries Chelsea and City would be battling relegation at this juncture.

Chaddy,
You illiterate muppet (lol) some of the squad have had multiple injuries, I didnt say 42 players. The figure, however is a true one reported widely in the press and double the nearest team. So yes, to be 4th and soon to be higher despite the injury jinx persisting with both Shaw and Di Maria joining the growing list in the last couple of games is nothing short of astounding and you ABUs can dress it up any way you like the facts wont alter.

Also, I will edit your last post for you to repost next May. Just by removing a couple of words it can then read " What you doing in 1st place"

What a fantastic gutsy win for the boys there, right in the mix now. A week ago if someone had said we are going to lose Shaw, Di Maria and Rooney in the space of a week on top of all the others, then I would have done a Arsen/Jay and raised the white flag. How wrong can you be? King Louis is weaving his magic now and the squad are showing great spirit. I must say though that throwing in the Kid in preference to Falcao surprised us all, but what a player young Wilson is going to be.
A draw for the gunners and the saints tomorrow and another dogged point for Sunderland will do me fine. COYR!!!

Arsen has gone up in my estimation, I have just watched his interview and in answer to the growing clamour for his head he has the answer and shows undisputably that he really is a genius. He commented, "we have to show resolve and strength.....we have to be United" There it is folks even Arsen wants to be United!

Yes George, Stoke were unlucky.... that they took the right turn off the M6 and found their way to the theatre instead of getting lost and saving themselves a beating.
A smooth elevation into 3rd spot coming on monday, then watch the backsides of the immoral mobs just above us start to twitch.
69% possesion to spurs, they must be wondering how they ended up being thumped there! cant see everyone else being that benevolent.

It is not often I have anything nice to say about City, but I remember thinking when they bought that strange looking short argie from spain with about 2 foot long legs and without a sniff of a bid from Madrid or Barca that they had been sold a pup and laughed quietly to myself at the stupidity of it.......... How wrong can you be? that kid is a class act and is keeping City up there almost single handedly! He is that good he would have no trouble getting a place on our bench along with Falcao.

I see King Loius has been promised another £150 million quid OF EARNED INCOME!! to further strengthen our already formidable squad. At a time when City and Chelsea are having to watch what they spend due to the fact that they are really just small clubs living beyond their means and are now hamstrung by the long overdue FFP rules, Utds story tells you that the only fair way is to painstakingly build up the popularity of your club and attract more supporters and sponsers by playing good football at affordable prices and things will eventually fall into place. If you cant do that for whatever reason, accept your place in the pecking order and enjoy the odd win here and there. In the big picture there really is no other way. I include Arsenal with the other two these days as they have boat loads of dosh which I agree is earned income but it has been fleeced from the long suffering gooner fans by the most expensive ticket prices over a long period for watching below par stuff!
