Great start for most of us in the CL and, quite correctly, it looks like Chelsea will get the chance to defend their losers cup which is as it should be.
I have to say, Utds first goal, I am surprised no one has commented, was the ultimate referees assist! RVP and Evra were offside in the build up and Valencia was both offside and interfering on the line and fouled the keeper as well! It is nice to know after that Turkish tosser last year that referees have learned their lesson about what is required if they ref at the theatre.
I dont know what all the fuss has been over Rooneys injury, I mean it is not the first time he has had a nasty old gash on his face is it?

Agree on that great assist by the Ref Dakey. I jumped for the team sheet to check if Webby was playing! A shocker especially with the possee of officials they now have!

Hats of to Swansea great result away in Spain even against 10 shows our strength in the pl. watching the scum just go 2 up again a nothing team at home. All the big clubs in Manchester and London made the perfect CL start we must be all happy. Only the little club the other side of the city failed and what a failure losing at home to a European minnow. But with a small out of date ground no money of their own and a manager who think god is his underling it s sometimes nice to see the mighty fall. Ps Dakey. I can take the one sided rants the rose glasses and all but please do not show your complete ignorance but knocking our capital.compared to your little suburb it is a giant of world renown. Judging by the way you put your posts together, not only do you hail from a cess pit of humanity, they dont appear to have an education system down there either. Have a look around your PC, I am sure there will be a spell check on there somewhere. give it a go before you click 'reply' , it can make a big difference and we can take you seriously then.
And having a go at Chelsea when they have made such a good start to their defence of the Europa League is bang out of order mate.

Only trying to help you mate, I envisage that if the gunners keep up their good form then you will be posting a lot more so I want them posts to look good, just like mine!
I can honestly say that I have never been happier with the strength and quality of our squad, we look strong in every department. At the start I was a bit apprehensive about the early fixtures, but with this being the 5th game and a run of easier games on paper to come, the fact that if the fixtures go our way this weekend we could go top will do me fine even if that scenario doesnt happen. We WILL be in front by the 15th game and wont be headed again after that.
Mark my words Neil and I rarely get things wrong.

Interesting day ahead tomorrow, Arsenal Spurs City and Utd can all go top with the correct sequence of results. Jay, I cannot understand how Utd,a team that has made the "worst start ever" are in with a chance of doing that in the 5th game. Your words mate, looking a bit silly now I think.

Smivs Sorry but if you think Stoke, Cardiff and City will win today it is a reflection of your football knowledge which must be akin to George and Chaddy's, both of whom have been absent from this thread of late due to their team's mediocre starts to the season. I was expecting George back on last night after Chelski had bored Fulham into submission and everyone else to death but I'm sure it won't be long. Dakey - I think you're being generous to everyone else if you think it will take 15 games for us to hit the top again...

This is an open forum and of course anyone of any gender is free to post their views on it, so I unreservedly apologise if the term 'Fellas' has offended you. It was not my intention at all.........However, following your predictions for todays games I think it is incumbant on your husband to send you post haste back into the kitchen and he should also keep you busy with other chores of a domestic nature as me and Kev already have to put up with enough numpties of the male kind on here without having to tip toe around female ones as well!
Kev, It wont take 15 games, you are correct, but if we dont throw out the odd crumb of comfort to the others then me and you just end up talking to ourselves.

Dakey it is lucky you won't be over in the near future because that lady you have now crossed would eat you up and spit you out. Top after 15 I look forward to the humble pie that's coming. I see you brought Kev a pair of them rose glasses that effect your eyesight and scrambles your brains. Utd not even in the top 2 at the end of the season and will be quite prepared to eat words if I am wrong have a beer on it!!!! Unlike yourselves I can see the weakness and problems with my club but it seems that in Manchester both sides wear blinkers all the time. Their will be one of 2 reasons George has vanished either embarrassed by recent performances of his chelski. Or he is now shacked up in Thailand with his latest rental who is loving him long long time.
