I love this time of year as everyones batteries are recharged, most of you have forgotten the dross you served up last time and you all have grandoise ideas of making up the ground on Utd and dream of actually picking up the league title at the end of it. Can I just take you all back to February and march when I was practically having to bribe you all to make a post as you were all suicidal. it will be the same old same old again after Xmas so enjoy your little happy time in the sun, You all know it is not going to last long.
Cheers, Dakey

Dakey my friend
I'm no better now than then but having a pop at UTD & Chelski always makes me feel a bit better, a bit like you must feel when you relentlessly snipe at your pals from down the road. Ere aren't there any micky mousers that own on CDA? Would of thought they be right up for it after all their recent signings.

Hiya Don & Kerry
Nice to get new blood. Laughed about be "very afraid", Had some nightmare times watchin City at the Goldstone
Used to always give us tickets in West stand extension????????????? It was scaffolding and if everyone moved together it was definately for falling over
Took us 9 hours on a direct train to get home after being stuck at Clapham Junction for hours
Lost 4-0 in the cup and John Bond ran away from being manager
Won 1-0 second last game of season 1983 and celebrated staying up, only to find all the bottom 6 clubs won. Next game we were relegated against Luton
Oh happy times
Funny but true story. Me my mate Cob and mate Paul used to do all the aways together. You always got to know all the crew and had really happy times. Comin home after 4-0 cup defeat we were boarding football special and noticed one of our mates, Johnny Naden asleep on a bench. Last second jump off train, 3 of us carry him back on and leave him to sleep. He was well sozzled and managed to kip all the way to Manchester Piccadilly where Cob had to slap him about a bit to wake up.
"C'mon John we're gettin off mate"
"Where am I "
You're back home mate, you slept all the way home you piss head
******Â You bas***ds, I'm working in Hove I've left my car at the station to pick up in the morning, they'll f****ing kill me and I'll lose my job. Where's my bag?
Whoops didn't see a bag (all his gear in it) And yes he did lose his job.         Some people just don't like good samaritans.

I feel i must apologise to young Dakey for my earlier post when i commented on him tapping away below his manure duvet etc, it is with deep regret that i failed to mention the manure wallpaper, carpet and mirror, which are of course the true sign of a miggleton red, my apologies once again young Dakey, i'll make sure i get all the facts in in future rather than omit some important ones that may suggest my case is stronger than it is.
Cheers
Shampers

Hi Dave,
Nice of you to invite me into this discussion, but you do not need me. You are more than a match for Jay, Dakey etc. and with 2 of us attacking them it would be no contest, just like the Premiership this year. Thats my last word on the subject.
Fred

right, where do I start,
Dave that story about you and cob must have been embelished a tad over the years, I mean there is no way that three of you would make Brightons scaffold stand sway! big as you are and a City fan with a job? come on how many have you had?
Shampers, I had to laugh at your post, we are decorating my lads room, (he is 24 and we cant get rid of him)and when we stripped off the current wallpaper and removed the wardrobes, there it was, Man Utd wallpaper, Cantona, Giggs, Keane etc all staring out at us. Good call.
It is nice that other people are joining in and also find the thread entertaining, just for information purposes it usually consists of me and sometimes my mate Kev, posting mature and relevant information and a gang of muppets who support the bitters then combine their single brain cells to respond. Usually in a childish immature sort of way without a semblance of fact or dignity. But hell, while they are doing that it takes their little minds off their clubs history for the last 40 years or so and keeps them from jumping off tall buildings on to very hard surfaces. We also have a smattering of southerners and other inbreds posting sometimes, but as the thread topic is about football, the content of their posts are somewhat lacking usually.
My mind goes back to early in the year, when it seemed that I was posting to myself as you had all given up the ghost. I am glad you are all rejuvenated now, but please dont disappear again when the going gets tough.
I am a bit gutted at the moment, was due over on the 20th, but I have torn my knee cartlidge at work last week so laid up waiting to see the specialist. Sorry George, will have to take a rain check on your offer of golf mate, till next time.
Finally, with a moniker like Fred Munster, if that is your real name and supporting the bitters as well no wonder you are keeping your head as low as a japanese soldier on a remote pacific island all these years, when you do enter the debate again, bring Barney Rubble with you for support mate.
Now then, before I sign off, is there anyone I have not insulted? if I have missed you out then I apologise. There is always next time.
Cheers, Dakey

Dakey,
As I said in an earlier post, let's wait for the season to get going and see how it unfolds. If Shitty perform and take our title then fair do's. We will see. If they don't then some of the posters on here will be crawling back under the rock they've been under for 35 years. I don't know where they've all come from - we must have half of their average home attendance posting on here!

Hi Kev,
Nice to hear from you again, I must say mate I also have wondered where they have all sprung from as not long ago you could not entice them on for all the tea in china. Then it dawned on me, Benny Hill has passed away coupled with the corny attempt at humour it can only be that crowd of oddballs that used to follow him around at the end of the show in fast motion, only substitute Benny Hill for City Dave and then picture his mate Cob, Chaddyfowl, Shampoo, Fred Flintstone and the rest all scurrying after him chanting "tick tock, we are behind you"
suddenly it all makes sense.
Cheers, Dakey

I'll wager it will be another end on sunday looking like figures from a Lowry print. Drab, no colours and young kids trying to hide the Norwich scarfs which dad's making them wear. The other end being a beautiful sea of blue.
I've never previously been to a match and seen such a set of miseries together. Cheer up there may still be a champions league place to play for.
Dakey, that Phil Jones looked good again last night. Only 7 of the goals were his fault. 1 was Smalling's

So much for "we've won every pre season game with our wonderful youngsters, comment a couple of days ago. That lad Jones makes Johnny Evans look a world beater. See if Blackburn will take him back on loan for a couple or ten years or so. Dross
Is it goin to be a meaningless friendly, or the first trophy of the season on Sunday??
