Unless Dave has recruited Tiger Woods, put him in a disguise and called him Steve you have absolutely nothing to worry about. When I have played with Dave he has almost orgasm,d on the rare occasions he has managed to top it 10 yards off the tee peg!
Another good win for Utd last night...... whoops sorry fellas it was England wasnt it, silly me. I have to say though Roy has gone up in my estimation, the entire midfield and attack was from Utd and Arsenal with not a shade of blue shite anywhere at the business end of the team! I am beginning to think he knows his football after all!

. As for Dave you do him down too much he put it to 3ft on the 11th over the water and at crunch time on the 17th he stuck a solid 4 iron on the dance floor to make it vey difficult for Neil and me. It finished there 2 and 1.
No excuses the city boys played well and for and Neil and I maybe the socirty effort yesterday took too much out of us (or was it the twelve hour bender! after !!!!) not sure either way.

Ok, so Dave hit TWO good shots! I suppose that is a hundred per cent improvement from the one he used to hit when we played. The question is.... what were his other 184 like? I am very disappointed with Neils contribution there, I mean he plays that course about 4 times a week! I think he has thrown it on purpose so Dave can get the ale in.... by this time of the evening he will have realised that scenario is never going to happen in a month of sundays! Anyway, have a good night fellas I almost wish I was there with you.

Normally if Jay or anyone for that matter had gone round with a couple of old brooms in his bag it would have been enough to see off Dave, I think in the couple of years since we played together Dave must have been putting in the hard hours on the practice areas on the quiet and can now hold his own with the 36 handicappers on a good day.
Dave, do you remember when I took the game up because you were getting invites to all the corperate golf days and I thought I was missing out? That first golf day at portal in cheshire, top top course and I had cadged all sorts of clubs off everyone, but you had not thought to tell me that there was a 14 club maximum and I turned up with about 25 clubs jammed in the bag! thanks for that mate, I still get stick over that to this day and I still owe you one for it.

Wife away and what a weekend
Thanks Dave and Stevie (Woods) for the great game, Although a 2 / 1 defeat it was the manner and style that counted.
Apologise to jay the back nine deserted me a mixture of two much golf, to much booze, to late a night and not enough painkillers,
will remember next time not to stop drinking might work.!!!!!
The game gave me the idea of playing a Red V Blues match poss first or second week in July watch this space it would be great to see the City boys having to get on with the Chelsea Lads. If intrested let me know 2 days ryder cup formate poss.
Dakey dave said he told you about the number of clubs allowed but he said you could not count past 10 at the time!!!!!!!!!

Morning Fellas
Back to work at 06.30 this morning. Time goes too quickly
Neil and Jay, thanks for your company and wonderful game of golf on Saturday. We've bought into something very special on Condado. The course is superb. The new friends even better x
Neil, A brilliant evening in the Clover afterwards. I couldnt believe how busy you were for October. Thanks so much for the kindness shown to us.
My mate Steve totalled up all the various points on the cards and showed me on the plane last night. I was well chuffed with all our scores on a course like we have. Neil, in consecutive days, you scored 40 and 37 points stableford.
Nice to meet Shampers on Saturday aswell. We had planned to leave the Clover about 11.00 but it quickly came round to 3.30 am!!
Our desperate rendition of Blue Moon spoiled the Karaoke for a few people heh heh. Look forward to getting back asap other trips permitting. Scotland were robbed in Wales!?!?
Dakey, I so remember that day and all those clubs. I thought it was 21?? A big memory was that I couldn't believe how well you played in your first ever game, straight in at the deep end, in a comp.

Welcome back to the real world, give those hard working underpaid cannon fodder in your workshop some beer money and let them finish at dinner in the monkey monday club as reward for all their endeavor while you are globe trotting!
I am not sure what you are insinuating on the golf front mate, if it wasnt my first game I would not have made a complete fool of myself by turning up with enough clubs to open a branch of 'american golf' .The fact that I played half decent is merely down to the fact of being a natural sportsman and thats something you are born with, you can hone it to perfection but it is nevertheless a gift from God initially. I too am pleasantly pleased with the progress of the resort and hopefully we can marry our dates next year and get out at the same time, a reds v blues sounds ok to me although the blues will be mostly Chelsea fans as there isnt nearly enough City blues to go around.
