Make a bid Georgie boy, you lot can afford a measily 100k a week for a player who by his own omission only has form in patches. Should fit in perfectly at the bridge!!!

Doesn't normally stop you buying all and sundry!!!! That extra 100k a week might tip the scale and make your wage bill higher than your annual turnover. DOH!!! it already is, sorry I forgot.

George you keep popping away mate. Nobody loves ya. Everybody I know was cheering on a team from southern Germany last May and that included Gooners who did not want Sp*rs to qualify for the CL. That should tell you how liked and respected Chelski are. The brand of football you played will be forever remembered for being the most negative everseen and that's a record befitting. Deep down inside you know that you're a small club and a little plaything for a Russian crook who has as much real love and loyalty to you as he did to his ex wife and eventually he'll cast you off the same way. Let's be honest your record as a club is nothing short of pathetic before you got the benefit of the ill gotton gains from Roman. One lousy title win 50 odd years ago and a smattering of cups. Chelski HAVE BOUGHT IT ALL! The only thing you ain't bought is the wonder that is JT and absolute gentleman of the game and as honest is the day is long he's a modern day Bobby Moore ain't he???? Your club has no class no style no real history and no money of its own. It must hurt inside to know that all the other football clubs that have earnt there reputations and respect feel that about your club but that's the truth. Enjoy your little plastic revolution if you can while you can but remember you're club will never have the grandeur respect or love that Arsenal Utd and Liverpool receive It's a shame for you really you're like a London based Blackburn. ;)

have to say I am quite enjoying the start to this season for a change as it usually takes until Christmas for us to get going and especially since our neighbours appear to be struggling. Can't believe they are letting Carroll go to the Hammers since he is a real handful and a goal threat - Rodgers will do well to still be there by Xmas..........

Jay,
That was a bit out of order there mate in your last post to George, I mean what have poor Blackburn ever done to you that compels you to compare them to that bunch of shite!
Oh and I nearly forgot to mention the other bunch of shite as well, one day to go and all they have got is Rodwell, Sinclair and maybe swapping the useless Savic for an even worse countryman, I think that little lot has got us all quivering in our boots hasnt it.

yes a curious close season for the newly rich A-rabs but what great business by Moysey in the January window getting Pienaar back and Jelly on board - he is the missing link for us and that Mirallas looks like useful back-up. I think the Rodwell deal was good business for us given he had a poor season last year an he seems injury prone, anyway we have Ross Barkley coming through now and who knows what else on the Goodison conveyor belt. It would be easy to get carried away but most Toffees haven't been as optimistic for a very long time - let's wait and see. Dakey what do you think about the RVP deal - seems a bit pricy for a 29 year old !! Handy looking CL draw for you lot and I'm sure Fergy will remind them not to think it will be easy given the Basel debacle last year, that was  for you. City have a tasty one against Royal Madrid and others in their group - I wonder can I dream of that for next year ?

Jeb,
Everton look set up nicely and I would love for them to have a real crack at something this year as I do have a soft spot for them with all the financial problems you have to contend with, they are a proper club in my humble opinion. The fact that you raped the bitters to the tune of 15 million for Rodwell just makes it extra entertainment.
The money spent on RVP is not an issue for us mate, it would only go into the Glazers back pocket otherwise, we have got the premier leagues top scorer and double footballer of the year in our side now in his prime years and at the end of his 4 year deal he will still only be 32 which is no age for a pro footballer these days. so the short answer is yes we are extremely happy with the deal. One problem that needs sorting though is our training regime, 4 centre backs injured before a ball is kicked and now Rooney crocked as well on top of last years massive injury list, maybe there is something there that can be improved upon perhaps.

Jeb
Everton look as strong as ive seen them for years and I would like to echo Dakey's view that Everton are another proper club with history and heritage with and excellent fans that have been through the mill over the years. I too think that they maybe a surprise tip for season but I'm sure the issue as with most teams will be depth of squad when the injuries hit.
Speaking of injuries Dakey you're not the only ones we too have 4 first teamers out including our goalkeeper so lets not hide behind that as both UTD and Arsenal are always likely to have that many players out from our 25 man squads anytime throughout the season. In our case the sooner we get the best british midfielder in the country back fit and ready to go the better we will be. I'm salivating over the prospect of carzola and wilshire in the centre of the Arsenal midfield as I think that'll rival any ones midfield in Europe.
Bring on the scousers

It was nice to see Chelski actually try and play football in Europe at last instead of that horrific brand of shite from last season.
Problem is they simply can't do it! Athletico should of won by 6 lol!
First real test of the season and a massive fail! Still Roman won his £3 billion pound court case against his former busom buddy and business partner (loyalty eh!!!) so he'll probably spend another £100 million but he better hurry up he's only got 1hour and 15 mins left!!
Also did any chelski fans attend the match?

Well Fellas,
What an embarrasing day all round for english football, first we have the spectacle of the bitters mopping up all the waifs and strays that previously couldnt get a club, they actually sold and loaned quite a few players today who were all actually better than the group they have just brought in. Then we get Chelsea getting the absolute run around and the problem we have is that people looking at those goings on will think that all our clubs are run like that and we will all be tarred with the same brush. It will be up to the Utds, Arsenals, Evertons and Spurs etc to show them that there is another way to do it other than that utter shambles we have witnessed today from those two.
Cheers, Dakey
