I see Hull City are in dispute with their rich owner about a name change he is proposing. Man Citys owner wants to change their name too, to 'Ebola City'..... sounds logical to me as they are very unlikely to become a threat in Europe!
Wenger had first dibs on Fabregas and turns it down to go for Utds fourth or fifth choice striker........ not very good at this transfer stuff is he Jay?

Cahill shoulda walked long before any other business and on these incidents often games are decided. Still I would of preferred to play 11 v 11 and although well on top we did not hurt chelski.
In the end welbeck's tackle was as bad as cahill's and you could argue that koscielny and chambers were lucky to stay on too so things even on that front from my point of view.
Long way from beating a jose chelski but it werent long ago that we were capable of beatin them 5-2 and 3-1 so must find the resolve.
Very close to actually beating jose and my money was on wenger to do the little p***k in his own technical area like we used to do you in your shed!!

Afternoon Gents
A slow start to season by us which I expected to be honest (although I did think after 7 games we would have 15 points) still think we will have up and down weeks mainly due to our defence not being all that its cracked up to be, hoping to get a few of the injured lads back before we play WBA and try to get a settled defence ASAP, going forward we look very good but are still lacking that killer instinct but Im positive that will come the more these lads play 90 mins with each other.
Chelski going to take some stopping and Citeh and the Arsenal keeping tripping up so can see Chelski wrapping things up by end of March. I would be a happy to take 4th place and I think we will although it will be a roller coaster ride of big wins and stupid defeats.
Im out next Thursday 16th until following Thursday so if any of you out at same time I will catch you in the Clover.

Jay,
We have just beaten West Ham and Everton mate with two 19 yearolds and 2 23 year olds in the back four and they have done brilliant under severe pressure, unlike your familiar capitulation recently. We will mount a bid for the title mate but I am not sure you can say the same with any confidence.

Your defending against Everton left a lot to be desired and if you were ever to be totally honest and see things for what they are you'd face facts and say that it was your keeper who performed heroics!!! (A top performance I might add)
Dakey you are like a Cameron/Clegg/Milliband morph-up full of wind and piss like a barbers cat!!
Be honest and tell it how it is.
You will be battling it out for the top four and you might just scrape in and my god you need to because one more season out of it will spell long term disaster and a spell in obilivion like the mickey's.
As for us we have played Citeh (h)/ Chelski / Everton / Villa and a very enterprising Leicester team away and have not hit it running at all and are well behind where we we were this time last year.
However we now embark on a run of games that whilst will be testing will not be at the level of recent opponents so hope to start to motor from now on.
We won't be winning any leagues this year and as I said weeks ago chelski's by the 1st week of April in my eyes.
Finally very pleased to see 5 English Gooners represent last night and was especially pleased to see Kieran Gibbs in at that left back spot......he is without any doubt the best all round option for this position and the best I've seen since Cashley. Oh yeah Theo will be back next week!!!! So whilst slightly disapppointed not totally despondent and even slightly optomistic for the next month or so.
Enjoy your weekends boys and girls

Jay,
Gibbs or Shaw long term? no brainer.
We have had terrible injury problems with defenders and are still in the top four. The young kids who have come in have been brilliant. you are just getting a few injuries now and are not top four so where will you be when these injuries start to bite? Just sit back mate and watch us 'scrape' into top spot......... that is one of my honest appraisals.

Tyler Blackett 50k a week  up from 2 k a week, Rooney a whopping 300k a week, wow they deserve that - not!
Azpi is the best full back in the PL and is on 40 k a week but after a pay rise hearing this-lol

Rooney is the most successful player in his era in the PL both as an individual and team player, so deserves every penny he gets, blacket will be a top top player and also deserves his rise, George, you are just jealous that Rooney binned your bid to unsettle him and you are also getting nervous as we come up on the rails.

So WRONG!!
Greedy meglamaniac owners pouring billions into greedy players and agents pockets at the cost of us the "active fan" and beacuse of their Ego's nothing else.
We have 654 fit for purpose astro pitches in our country whilst the Germans have over 5000!! Paid for by foundations that have money filtered down from the Bundesliga and the German national federation. Their league is a credit to them as they put FOOTBALL first from the fans pricing structure and atmosphere and feed everything that they can down through the system so they develop great players on great facilities that naturally feed in to their teams and the national teams.
Our premiership is driven in such a selfish greedy way by Abromovich/The rabs and the Glaziers methods all equally as bad with very little fed down to grass roots.
I don't care what you all personally think about it and the way your clubs behave but I do care about grass roots football with a passion and I also care about the future of football in our country.
Please find the time to sign this and share with everyone.

Jay,
Educated people in football predict that Shaw will become the next Gareth Bale and I wholeheartedly agree with that sentiment. What the bloody hell has astroturf got to do with top class football?? Players adept at playing on artificial surfaces in my experience can tend to struggle on grass pitches and visa versa, so how does the fact that the germans have thousands of these pitches matter a jot in the big picture although some of your other comments have some credence. by the way, you forgot to mention your main shareholder taking money out of the Arsenal coffers mate.
Are we talking about the same Gibbs who was understudy to Cole and Clichy and is only getting a game now because he is the only one left for the position. An extremely average player in a defence full of extremely average players. Shaw is on a totally different level to Gibbs and plying his trade now at a club on a totally different level to Arsenal. My god, are you really that devoid of football knowledge? your Arsenal bias makes you sound stupid some times...... no, most times.

Another proof of your stupidity and lack football acumen  was never more evident than in your last post.
Do you actually realise how many games at grass level were lost to our inclement climate over the last three years. It's not a matter of adapting to different surfaces.....Jesus wept!!!!
Germany have 5000 + astro pitches so that kids and young adults have constant uninterrupted access to pitches and very low cost. In Britain our kids are charged £40 per hour for a poxy 1/3 of pitch. In Germany those pitches have been built and paid for because top down support from the bundesliga.
This is to the undoubted benefit of their game both at club level and national level.
do you get it now?????Â
Â
Fat under 21 mate and 30 million you been mugged again and all the saints fans I know we're gutted in the summer but not because they lost old tubby but because Chambers is three times the player than your porker. Good luck with him any ways.Â

Jay,
They might charge £40 per hour in the cesspit otherwise known as London, but not where I come from where people matter..... Mind you in your area it has just been announced that Arsenal tickets are the most expensive in the league with a top price season ticket now over £2,000 and thats more than double Utds top price. The extra money generated goes straight into Kroenkes back pocket. What a business model! That makes Mansour and Abramovich almost look like paragons of virtue.
