If you could just manage to prise your head from up LvG's backside for a minute, who would you want as his replacement if the worst happened? I recall the plethora of managers between Busby and Ferguson, do you want to go through that fiasco again? I reckon that as you guys are unlikely to do anything this season that you stick with Mr personality until the close season, and then do the job properly, Pep Guadiola is my shout, for what it's worth.

Jose would be my choice and it would be now and while we are at it Woodward can go as well. As for the team, we have proved that at nearly full strength we can match anyone in the league but the squads wafer thin. If we have injuries to a few main players we can get beat by anyone.
As for inept officials, that tonight was as bad as I have seen. Sterling crossed that ball from one of the empty seats behind the goal line, it was not even difficult to spot. The ref was 10 yards away and looked over to his liner 70 yards away for a decision. Absolutely daylight robbery, they should be shot at dawn!!

I had confidence in LVG because he had a plan to build from the back, strengthen the midfield and then work on attacking variety last. That was working a treat until massive injury problems derailed him and now he has lost the fans and the board know he is not long term so they wont back him with any more significant funds waiting for the next manager. That leaves him and us in limbo and benefits no one. I plump for Jose as he has the best track record for short term management success. There is no benefit from prolonging the status quo. However, as we have a record of backing our managers we will probably soldier on and if he turns it around no one will be happier than me.

I find it very amusing with Dakey Lad on here, his team languishing in obscurity, his own fans booing his team off at half time and full time, out of the carling cup, out of CL, out of FA cup when derby hammer em and out of contention for the PL title.
His only recourse is to complain about a better teams seat allocation and not about football on the park that we all love on here except for Dakey Lads team as they cant play it!!
