City level or one goal up and the officials give a diabolical decision to end the game as a contest...... I could be talking about today or I could be talking about any one of a dozen times that has happened this season! no wonder you are still in contention for a few things..... still end up with nowt in the end though.

well done citeh, much the better team, chelsea didnt look interested but the only good news is a citeh fixture pile up and chelsea can concentrate on the 2 big cups this year, however will have to up their game considerably and with piss poor strikers will be a struggle but its transition year so runners up in the league and a good euro cup run and i think most of the fans will settle for that .

jay, the answer to your question will be known if man city can beat barca, then they will have a huge fixture pile up and then chelsea have a chance. but i think barca will win and city's superior strike force will earn them the title their football deserves.however this week i hope we can all be united and hope for 4 premier league team wins in europe to sustain our euro ranking and ensure we keep 4 teams in the comp going forward.

Good Top of the league in mid February but not in the hunt for the title yet. I hope that happens every season. Were you a member parliament at any stage George because getting a straight answer is impossible. Chelski out of the cup and fighting on only two fronts and not in the race!! Come on really!!! Next you're be telling us your up for a Europa spot only.

jay i think you misunderstand. of course we are in the race as we are top but i just dont think we can win it because our strikers arent good enough. jose has done a wonderful job in getting 7/8 of the team sorted but he was unable to bring in a quality striker due to chelsea ensuring they adhere to the fair play rules. 2 seasons ago we were offered aguero but the 200,000 a week salary would have been unsustainable as far as the fair play rules go so it was turned down. we bought and sold in january and made 3 good purchases finances by selling 2 bench warmers in de bruyne and mata. in the summer we will let cole go, sell lakuka and maybe courtois and hopefully torres and bring in cavani and shaw and then i believe have a serious shout for the title. after the win at man city we were made 10/11 to win the title so i laid the bet . that way i cant lose . if we win the title i will be a be ecstatic but at the moment it is beyond my wildest dreams. i am a realist but in football you never know . thats why we love the game.

Take that mickey mousers!! Webb a disgrace with 55000 people telling him in no uncertain terms what a fool he is. Stevie Geeeeeeee should of walked. Still it was a compelling game and now yet another prem team but its at home we'll bang up for that. We are in the cup and therefore we are in the cup if you get me.. ;) Jay

chaddy, only wanted an arse win as it increases their fixture list with a threadbare squad, mind you after watching the game the mousers look more likely to challenge for top spot, they were by far the better side and as jay rightly says webb got it so wrong with the missed pen so should have been a replay and another 5-1

Straight red for the keeper's 2 punches on Agger as well as the pen, and the pen for Sueraz ....... shame

That wasnt the worst decision by Webb this year. The spurs keepers studs up lunge on Ashley Young that kept him out for 3 weeks and no penalty given was much worse. I will not complain about that as Young deliberately dives (or did) and if I was a ref I would never ever give him anything for trying to con them all the time. It is a 2 way street and suarez is nearly as bad, so I wouldnt give him anything either, then maybe they will get the message and stop diving and conning all the time.
