terry has looked very shakey to say the least, I dont like saying it but Lescott has covered for his mistakes brilliantly. People are barking on about his goalline clearance but he let the long ball go over his head in the first place, then got turned inside out, so if he had defended properly initially he wouldnt have had to resort to desperation in the end. Just my unbiased opinion, 3 goals conceded in 3 games is average, not brilliant, so get real mate. the question is how far can Utds' brilliant forwards take us saddled with Chelseas shite defenders?

Come on boys!!
Massive game sunday night with GEEERRRRMINS waiting in the wings. We have all suffered watching England too many times to worry about inter club rivalries. Even if a certain Mr Cole was to score a winning goal against the Italians or Germans then I for one would be dancing a jig my friends!!

I know Chaddy, I cant help it! I am enjoying the euros and I want England to win it, honestly I do, but I have great difficulty cheering on other teams players. The sooner we get back to the business of taking our 'nicked' title back, the better I will feel.

Our Super Squad, as you so aptly put it, has won 4 titles in the last 6. In the other two we were pipped by a point by a small club buying the title and pipped on goal difference for the other by an even smaller club who also bought the title. Neither club would be in the top half of the league on their own merits. Indeed if you look at the full picture and include Blackburn another small club who bought the title, in the whole history of the premier league going back 20 years there is only us and Arsenal who have won it the correct way through the earned income of the club and that little spell in the last 6 years happens to be the best ever performance domestically by any club. I hope that answers your question, now next season try and concentrate and get back into the top 4 if you possibly can.
On a lighter note, Just to prove I am behind the 3 lions efforts I thought I would get some alcohol in for after the game, I couldnt believe that tesco had put up the price of my favourite Vodka to £25 a bottle! I purchased one anyway and I will still party like its £19.99.

dakey, or to phrase that differently 4 titles in 9 seasons with chelsea winning 3 titles plus the exclusive double this season with what you termed an aging squad that would win nought. also please explain the difference from being funded by a bunch of yanks and funded by a russian enrepreneur who also spends alot of money on the russian team and is in it for the love not the money unlike y your chaps. when our benefactor goes he doesnt want his money back. thats the same dream that i wanted to do when i grew up as mathew harding did and probably you did.the fact he comes from russia doesnt matter a jolt. after all its a global game now with the premier league the number 1 watched league in the world. in thailand where i am now living all i see are man u and chelsea shirts and the occasional real madrid shirt.hardly ever see a barca shirt and never arsenal or liverpool shoirts except very old and dirty ones( probably 10 years old at least!)

"Funded by a bunch of Yanks" ..... are you having a laugh, they bought us with £200 million quid of their "own money" and "400 million of borrowed money against the club and have been taking out ever since. We are servicing those leeches and also outperforming everyone else in English football by the income generated generally by the club. You on the other hand are deluded if you think that mr Abramovic, if he falls out with the club will just write off his massive contribution to your club being in a position it should not be in on its own merits. No one can deny in the terms of trophies that Chelsea have been our closest rivals for some time now but how you have achieved it cannot also be denied by you or anyone else.

George any Chelski shirt is a dirty shirt especially the newer ones! Dirty bent rotten reuble stained grime that's impossible to remove. Your owner Micky Finn'd Old Yeltsin pulled his pants down and robbed his country to fund his little plaything. A plaything that I might add was at very least his 3RD CHOICE of London clubs. So much for the "love of it" eh!!!
Dakey sorry fella not impressed with young or Rooney as neither of them cut it in the tournament at all. We were never in it from the start of the 2nd half and although I'm behind Hodgson as a whole why tactically did he not go 4 5 1 with a man on Pirlo who absolutely ran the show. I'm no football master tactician but even I could see if you stopped him you virtually stop them.
I'm gutted we're out yet again and to go out because of two men with girls names can't take decent penalties!!! ;(

Wow Jay, i thought it was spurs you lot hated. but of course you probably feel a bit sorry for them as theyve been robbed of a cl spot and lost their manager and with it probably 2/3 of their best players.
Chelsea you pretend to loathe but youre just plain jealous becuase we have now won everything there is to win and can now sit back on our lorals and just enjoy being the champions of europe and soon hopefully the world.
The more the arsenal fans hate us the better because that means we will always be the number 1 london club any footballer that wants to win trophies will join.
By the way ill buy any silver polish you want to sell.

Obviously I'm no fan of Totte*ham but I respect them for the way they try operate their club on a fair financial basis. I do feel sorry for the united fans because they know deep down what the Yanks have done to their club. The only money they rely on is the money that they leach out of their own fans to pay the hideous intetest and however successful they have been that must stick in any true utd fans throats. I like citeh's fans. They are a loyal long suffering bunch who through mainly thin times have supported their club in great numbers and that's to be respected but I have no respect for the way they have bought the league. Chelski were a nothing club bought for a quid from a dodgy geezer and if it weren't for another even dodgier Russian geezer would probably be long gone in the style of Rangers. Your support and attendance figures prior to the sugar daddy regime were average at best and most times the lowest matched across the other main supported teams in London (that includes the hammers by the way). Face facts George, your mob have bought it all and if it weren't for the Russian where would you be. Yes as a Gooner it's my job to not like Sp*rs with a passion but in all honesty it's Chelski's way of doing it that makes any negative feelings towards Totte*nham pale in to insignificance. Success should be earnt and not bought fellas and all Blackburn Chelski and Citeh fans will always have that little nasty feeling eating away at them as would I if Arsenal went down the sugar daddy road to hell! As long as chelsea are successful i do not give a flying pig where the money comes from.
We are severely hampered by the all seater stadium scenario as when we had standing we had 55,000 regularly for the big games even when not successful. Now every league game is sold out even with ticket prices at nearly £50 for the cheapest seat.So on that basis as we cant increase our seating profits and therefore cant compare our seating funds to those of man united. i am quite happy for a benefector to buy us the occasional £50 million pound striker when he wants one. The new fan bases are in the far east and we are number 2 here behind man u and better supported than any other european club.
And i suspect any citeh blackburn or any other club who has had an injection of cash will tell you the same..
We just get a thrill every time we read on the rumour mill who we might be buying unlike our worse off london neighbours who get knot in their stocmach every time they read one of their best players is being touted.

Bluster and wind!!! George you protesteth too much. Even when Roman came in his alleged so called intentions were to be a "self sufficient" set up. That went straight out the window as soon as his true ego mania showed its colours which lets be honest could of been any colours prior to him picking your lot up from poundland. 55k never in ya life unless you're over 65 years old or either Arsenal or Sp*rs were on down there making up the numbers. Now days the bridge is full Japanese/Chinese tourists and you can buy tickets the day before for any game from most west end ticket "agents" because that's where a large percentage of your new breed market come from. Finally if you really don't care where the money comes from then that says it all!!!!
