I'll umpire in the golf tournament .................. i'll bring me old Newcastle home strip (bought by an Uncle, back in the early 70s) ............ and the puggle sticks, although having met Dakey once, i'd say he's already fallen face first off a few too many platforms in his jobÂ
p.s. not Uncle JimmyÂ

Shampers,
My missus agrees with you, she says her grandad was better looking than me on his deathbed..... He was killed in the great war, shot in the face..... by a cannon!!!
Mind you, I can always stand next to you and Dave Roy and I will look like Brad Pitt
Cheers, Dakey

Chelski - No class but showed some backbone at Spurs today. Sadly got no moral backbone.
Shitty - "Sluggish, outplayed, lucky" (R5 live commentary) - Will probably be able to focus on English competitions after Wednesday night
United - Rooney hat trick (ok - one in own net!) but business as usual. Happy days
Â
Off to Condady tomorrow for the week - another six happy days .

George,
After next week that will be down to one point mate. We might be a bit shaky at the back but we have the attitude now that if you score two we will get three and its much better to watch that type of football.
Interesting stat from last season came out the other day. Days lost to injuries over two weeks long, Utd were hit the worse by far with 1,686 days lost covering 39 injuries. The bitters were least hit with only 189 days lost and 7 injuries. Taking the league to goal difference was a phenominal achievement looking at those figures!
I see John Terry has managed to even split the kick out racism campaign with hordes of coloured players refusing to back the campaign in protest at the feeble punishments handed out by the FA to players found GUILTYÂ of racial abuse. I read that even the morally bereft Chelsea board are bowing to pressure and reconsidering his position at the club, that could well see the captaincy taken off him and not offering a new contract next year when his present one runs out.

Bloody hell,
The PC brigade have now decided that the word colour or coloured is no longer a descriptive word but an insult! The world has gone mad.
Black brown yellow white, the last time I looked those were colours no insult no nothing just colours!

Dave,
While you are over in Amsterdam tap up a few of those lovely young ladies as by the time you are on the way home you will be so depressed at another CL campaign ending in tears you will need the comfort.
Chaddy, I have to be careful what I say to you in this PC dominated world as I am not sure what insulting a Neanderthal is classed as these days!
George,
Again I am confused, you have a pop at me for refering to people with brown or black or yellow complexion as coloured as if it is some kind of racial insult instead of just being descriptive, yet for over a year now you have stood four square behind someone who called a fellow player a F...... Black C...! as not being racist. Honestly, it is really confusing to understand where you are coming from.
And yes, it is well done to Rio and a horde of other players for refusing to wear the T shirt in protest at the FA/Premier leagues failure to hand out a fit and proper punishment to the loathable John Terry and the equally loathable Chelseas effort even now to sweep it under the table with a paltry fine but leaving him with the captaincy. But what else would you expect from that club? We have two trips now to Chelsea in the space of a few days and I can see our players staff and fans coming away and spending weeks in the shower trying to wash off the stigma of the place!
