         We came back in September and had a bill from Socamax for €3I70.We proved we had no leak,no breakage and no one in the appartment for three months.Our solicitor is dealing with the matter but we are still  no further.We asked level 2 president to discuss the situation but heard nothing.We are still hopeful, but it is a most stressful situation. Hi,

My main problem as a few people have pointed out is having to paint peoples apartments who have not paid a euro maintenance since

they moved in. Its bad enough paying for their portion of lighting, gardening etc. as it is.

I have painted my apartment twice already and like most people 600 euro seems an awful lot. Surely every apartment block should pay

for its own painting. Would somebody tell me where all the extra painting needs doing??. There are no extra buildings that I can remember

that are in the resort. To my mind the timber around the pools are the only extra that need painting, and they have already been done.

I do not see that I should have to pay for some repairs in someones elses proparty.

I would just like to say well done to Milinium.

3 hours ago I went up to the office and I had 2 issues.  1. We have some kind of fungus in our hedge which

I reported and 2. the broken gate going into our pool.

By the time I had got back to our apartment a man was already inspecting our hedge and informed me the job

would be done in a day.

Just returned from the pool and gate was fixed. Very efficent. On the gate side its amazing the number of people

who do not close the gate when the leave the pool. With so many children during the year, its an accident waiting

to happen, just for the sake of going to the trouble of closing a gate.

Just a thought.

Hi,

I am with Barclays. They had a branch in the Port but unfortunately that closed down and I was transferred to Cartegana.

I am getting free banking, no band charges, and am getting 3% back on my maintenance, water and electric bills. Not sure

if a person opening a new account would get the same or not. It is worth about 150 euro a year to me, although from January

2013 the tax man took 1% of that.

We treat it as a day out when we go to the bank and you really do not have to go their that often.
