I forgot as well I think to mention that I think I warned Dakey about their defence. It has only been luck and extremely poor finishing by chelsea liverpool norwich and arsenal so far this season that had kept their goal difference any better than Arsenal's and let's be brutal the gooners defence has been pathetic and I for one see no difference.

On the attendances front does Dakey count the kick off crowd or the final whistle crowd coz at the final whistle yesterday i understand Manure registered the lowest Prem League crowd in history .................

Well, well well! Dakey have you gone into hiding? I was not too far off with my post from last week as below!!

I love it when a plan comes together - the power shift has now really started to take effect!

Tony

Predicting goals, sending off's, may be a bit of Fergie time - who knows but looking forward to it

Fergie got his tactics all wrong. How could he leave out Howard Webb for such a big game ?

Came in to work this morning and one of the little angels from the nursery across the road, asked me if I could do anything for a poorly bird that had flown in. I went over to have a look at it and you'll never guess "it was a sick swann"

heh heh

I read this tread with intrest every week and the comical banter always makes me smile.

Being a die hard Arsenal Boy the thrshing we took at the start hurt and the banter from Londons Biggest Supported team (Man U) did not stop coming.

Now the ball is on the other foot they have joined the Old trafford masses from the end on the game and vanished.

Lad I defend you right to support a team at the other end of the country but if your gonna dish it out then please be brave enough to stand a take it to.

I believe the noise from the Condado Club was defening at the end ( everyone seemed to be a city fan for that short time)

Congrads to City on a wounderfull result and please can all the whingers stop going on about money when Chelski and Man U have bought the titles over many years as they had the most it was ok now a bigger boy has come to the playgroung it seems they dont like it BE FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great team performance and even a few brits in the side again well done and enjoy.

Neil

Its all going pear shaped for the Man Ure.

Had to rip up the banners about when city last won a trophy last season and now this.

I accept one swallow doesnt make a summer (or what ever the stupid saying is) but a 6-1 thrashing at home is a bit of a wake up call.

Dont know if the Evertonians are looking to take advantage on Saturday or fearing a back lash. I know what I want lol.

Come on you Toffees..............................:-)))))

Oh and dont blame Jonny Evans, Vidic would have done exactly the same and walked (except if Howard Webb had been reffing of course)

Well Well Well!!!

As the infamous bird from Norfolk said Come on, let’s be ’avin’ you Dakey’

The usually noisy red Dakey seems to have gone MUTE!!

Its not like Dakey to have nothing to say about his beloved, indefatigable, blameless set of useless tools now is it, so

Come on, let’s be ’avin’ you Dakey’

Remember this Dakey lad on previous post of yours???

The fact is that although some of you are very passionate about your little club there are not nearly enough of you to maintain a position at the top table without your rich deluded benefactor. Still, all things considered, it is enjoyable having you up there contending, it makes it all the more pleasurable when we put you in your place.

Cheers, Dakey

Man U Fans

Come out Come out wherever you are.

I reckon they are just working out the positive spin they are going to put on this. It'll be a good read whatever it is.

Dave

I see your Rangers gave the Canucks a bit of a hiding last week despite being outshot 40-19, seems your teams are on a roll. A Rangers Canucks SCF would be good this year, we came up one game short last year against the bullies of Boston (Are the the Man U of the NHL). Good luck to Citeh, It's about time someone broke the monopoly and the only way in is heavy investment then take it from there..

Simon

Morning Simon

I kept meaning to contact you last year when Stanley cup time came round. My cousin who lives in Vancouver was inconsolable after the Bruins defeat. My two American teams, Rangers in hockey and Mets in baseball have been decidedly average and untrustworthy to say the least.

Dakey and his Little Bro' Kev are perhaps waiting for the resuregence against Aldershot tonight. I'm wearing out my Sky box keep replaying the goals. Wifes going ape at me every time theres adverts on the match goes back on heh heh

How did Dzeko and Yaya miss those sitters with 4 other players to pass to. Has there ever been a more blatant penalty than Richards hacking down, so don't for the life of you think that the score line reflected the full nature of the defeat Dakey.

I'm sure they'll come out and tell us how they always bounce back from big defeats when they're ready and have had a victory to celebrate. It's not only Kev & Dakey who have disappeared, none of my Man U supporting mates can be contacted either, If they'd won can you imagine what this thread would have been like? but because they lost they've all just vanished into the abyss. Then they wonder why there are so many ABUs about.

The SCF was an absolute nightmare, I spent 2 months getting up at ridiculous O'clock every other night to watch the whole run to the final only to be disappointed right at the end (as a Leeds fan this is nothing new). In the end the Canucks were just too banged up and most of their top players were playing on one leg or not at all, the Bruins basically beat them up and the officials seemed to let it happen for some reason, at one point one of the Bruins smacked the Canucks best player Daniel Sedin (Lge top scorer) 5 times in the face with no retaliation right in front of the official and both players were tossed out of the game , amazing decision. It was a shame really as for the whole season the Canucks were by far and away the best team in the league but they just ran out of gas, it means so much to the people of Vancouver that they still haven't got over it. I'm hoping to catch the Canucks v Maple Laffs game in February as I'm over there then.

The Rangers have invested heavily on a star centre this year so you never know once they get settled they may end up putting a good run together, they also have one of the most entertaining coaches to watch and listen to, some of his rantings are hilarious. Just a shame ESPN aren't showing hockey at the moment as the NHL have messed up with the European TV rights and no one is prepared to pay the inflated sum being asked.

Anyway, I like others are waiting for the red responses, come on boys don't let us down.

Simon

Hello Fellas,

Whats all the fuss about? I know you think I have been hiding but I have been traveling up to Aberdeen and have only just got internet access, It has, however, given you all a chance to have your little laughs at our expense and given me a chance to look at it objectively.

At half time the question on the lips of reds and blues in our pub was could City withstand the inevitable red surge in the second half and hold out for a win. Within a minute the hapless walking disaster zone that is Evans changed all that. I have to say though that with the numerical advantage City were both ruthless and breathtaking and it could have been more by the end. Lets not, however, get carried away by one fluke result, the measure of our club has always been not the odd humiliating defeat and we have had our fair share of those. It is how we respond to defeat that has meant we have dominated for 20 years and I for one will wait a while before I join in with the epitaphs. Although I do accept that this City team will provide us with our sternest test for the last 20 years.

The one bright spot will surely be that Evans will not pull on a red shirt again if Sir Alex knows anything about football. He invariably gives away goals, penalties, gets sent off or a combination of all three and to pick him ahead of Vidic, Jones and Smalling for a centre half spot is sheer folly or bloody mindedness on the part of Fergie. Persoally, if I had a choice between Evans and Stephen Hawkings then Evans would come second every time!

Just to finish lads, some very funny posts by you all, even I had to laugh at them. Enjoy your moment in the sun, it has been a long time coming, but we will be back!!

Cheers, Dakey

Jonew,

Just read your previous contribution, it seems you only post on here when Utd have a bad result (so thankfully we dont hear from you that often)

Start a combined thread about Leeds and hockey and talk to yourself!

Cheers, Dakey
