Fellas,
Am I the only one who feels like throwing up with the City/Tevez debacle? Do I detect that the bitters are that rattled that they would consider bringing that ungrateful spoilt overated moron back into the reckoning. Can you just imagine for a minute Mancini pulling Aguero, or Dzeko, or Balotelli to one side and telling them that they were benched and Tevez was to play in their place! The squad spirit must be in a very dark place if the management have actually sanctioned his return, he is not even repentant, on TV he still blames Mancini for it all and the manager says he wont consider him unless he publically apologises. It is an absolute mess and there is no other way to describe it.

Not just the tevez thing Dakey, seems fantastic and unpredicatble season aint enough for some people.
It is amazing that with some of the extraordinary results this season in the league, top teams losing to each other by 5+ goals, bottom team beating leaders etc...the press has been dominated by other matters.
Tevez saga for one...shows how overpaid and arrogant players can be. I'm not talking about refusing to play but to just walk out of your job and go on holiday for a few months is unbelievable. Especially when he still thinks he has done nothing wrong. City should sack him and require any club signing him to pay compensation in line with their valuation and the wages he was on.
The old handshake debacle...can't for the life of me see why players shake hands before a game (aside from the captains). Can understand after the game as a show of sportsmanship, win or lose. To ask two players, one who thinks the other is racist, the second who thinks the first stitched him up and got him banned for two months, to shake hands before a game seems simply stupid.
And of course John Terry...is he captain, isn't he captain, should he be dropped, shouldn't he....lets wait a few months to decide so it can fester and every tom dick and harry in the media can have his say.
And Jay...you're right can't see Chelsea winning the CL!!

Nice to hear from you again, I have never been more confident in my team to come through and the Tevez thing is just another example of your growing desperation to cling on to anything as the club slowly implodes.

Fear Tevez? dont make me laugh.
Tevez was one of the best players ever to warm our bench for nearly a season. Dont remember many tantrums against Fergie though. He just sat there and come on when asked no problem. must be a respect thing you see, he respected UTD and the manager. He obviously thinks he is bigger than both City and their manager and the way they are creeping back to him in desperation probably means he is right.
Good luck tomorrow, I am adopting the Gunners as my CL team for as long as it lasts. Cant bring myself to cheer on Chelsea though, they are a mini me City and I cant abide clubs like that, sorry.

wowwwwwwweeeeeeeee adopting us for the CL most grateful and you have risen a few points in my eye them Red glasses just turned pink with a Utd fan actualy caring about another English team.
Jay made a great point with the results know body would have predicted the crazy results and us only getting 7 points from 21 then winning by a hatful and going fourth on goal dif the world is crazy.
Tevez I make dakey right again (thats twice in a year i'm of to the doc's) The only way that City would have contemplated bringing him back was if they are worried about UTD and Spurs and the recent inept preformances it reeks of panic.
Chelski have as much chance of winning the CL as Harry's dog has in filing a accurate tax return, or was that harry or the neibour down the road I got lost somewhere. and yes Torres is still shit , has he become the worst signing in Prem history?
Just like to remind all the doubter who said bring Henry back was a mistake work out the goal ration to mins on pitch and that included 2 winners wow class like that is unreplacable and I only wish we had him for the season.

enjoy your trips in the european losers league and I think both of your mangers will feel in their hearts that these are trips they could do without and it might be possible that the team that gets knocked out first will go on to win the Prem. team selection will be intresting watch this space.

Love to see you living the dream at the moment ,but sorry mate its the word dream you must think about. you qualified for the CL once before and again the dream was on but the next season failuue again and the making of a great side in one that consistantly delivers year in year out one good season does not elevate you to super status. Even City will have to produce the results over a period before they can claim to be giants in europe. That means qualifing year after year and making semis and finals and also winning it. I will be the first to admit that we have achieved a brilliant run in qualifing for the CL and getting past the groups also making the latter stages of the competetion alot but untill the silverwear comes in to the club we will never get elevated to that final top level. so if the aAsenal are not their then Spurs and City are miles away yet.
Going to enjoy watch the CL tonight and will be cheering the Arsenal with Dakey ( who will you be supporting tonight Shane?) English team or I TI

Although Arsenal aren't as good to watch as a few years ago I still enjoy the brand of football they try to play. I won't lose any sleep if they win or lose but do hope they go OK. And it wouldn't bother me too much if they went all the way.
I agree Spurs haven't done enough to be considered a great side as yet. But they are going the right way and improving. Used to be awful away from home and have a very brittle defence. Both have been patched up this season. More importantly I now find them the best english team to watch for football (used to be arsenal).
If we get on the CL gravy train a little more often we'll be able to attract players more easily and hopefully that will improve our results. The opposite is applicable to the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool. Before Spurs broke in and City splashed the cash it was a cosy little club. Always in CL and being able to use the cash and exposure to get the players...2 or 3 seasons out of CL in a row could really hurt.
Yep still living the dream and can see us holding 3rd especially if we take at least a point off you guys and chelsea.
Big downside is if Harry is given the Eng job and a new man comes in with a different philosophy.

There was so much sense in your last post that I had to look twice to be sure it wasnt me that posted it! We will be treating the Europa League like the Carling Cup, giving squad players a game, I am convinced of that. I dont think Fergie is bothered about anything but keeping the bitters tainted hands off our title, nothing else matters this season for us.

You have absolutely not a chance in hell of holding on to third spot....... that is earmarked for the bitters. It is runners up spot for you lads with an outside chance of winning it. I am just sorry that Neil wont let me change my predictions cos I am now convinced that I have you and City in the wrong places.

Can we stop this agreeing it will cause the casual watchers of this post alot of disheart.
I always post as I see it and Spurs should like Dakey sayd be aiming for higher than 3rd.
If you asked me 3 weeks ago I would have said 4th was looking a little to far for us but now who know things are on the up.
Need a result tonight to keep the confidence going 1 each would be good or anything better.
So hopefully when Harry meets david and Alex at the FA they will come to an arrangement for him to take over the England job straight away rather than some sort of mish mash that will allow him to do both jobs.
England must be the priority and if its at the expense of spurs then I can live with that (ha ha) but either way it must be one or the other.
Can we also all now get over this never ending saga of Terry the others and racism in football. The game is played all over the world by white, pink brown, black and every other skin tone you care to mention. I cannot think of any top side with out an ethnic or overseas player in it. If a player is stupid enough to make racist comment kick him out for life the others will soon stop and no more discussion. This is a blight from the 70's ans 80.s and know reasonable fan or player will ever except its return.

Well Fellas,
My short spell as a gooner has come to a premature end and I can say it was not an enjoyable experience. I did not realise Dave that I had the capacity to influence other teams performances merely by expressing my alliegience, but from now on I am a dedicated blue mooner, come on you City heroes!!!

It seems that some players need everything done for them...Welbeck and Nani arrived at the airport without passports for flight for the Ajax game.
I know this can happen but really how much do they have to organise to bring themselves. Its not like they have 4 kids and are trying to keep their luggage within the weight limits.
You have to laugh...the money footballers get and there are always stories about players not having passports (or in date ones) or getting the visas they need.

The arsenal defence reach new levels last night and for the first time that was prob our starting back 4 god they are crap.
Dakey it may have been short lived but what the hell another team in red with a dodgey defence can you support spurs in the league please.
At least we can concentrate on the league and cup and just hope its not another season that ends in a 2 week spell. We need a win Sat for sure.
Was the no passports a ruse so Fergie could say I was gonna play a strong team but!!!!!!!!!! to apease the fans

Hiya the Simpsons
My husband and I are gooners and the poor old soul works at the Emirates as a stewart  and travels to every home match as we live in Cardiff - such is his love for the football team he has chosen to support from a little boy. He went to work in his normal job today with his head and shoulders down constant commenting "he has got to go" (Arsene that is).
I don't know much about footy but as a girl I have managed to sort of work out the off-side rule - sorry guys but all you gooners out there who have bought on Condado what do you think about Arsene going and all you other footie fans out there who are not gooners what is your opinion. Be nice.
