What's so funny they're the same standard as the fullback and centre forward that we duped you into recently!

Think Clichy might shock you this season. Also The big lad could well do a job at Spurs. I feel a bit sorry for his sending offs and bannings. I'm sure when he's in the mood he'll be a handul

Well it would be nice to get a forward who can score a few goals instead of relying on the midfield to get them all.

From the rumours you'd think Spurs are selling all their current forwards...at least Crouch, Defoe, Keane.  I wouldn't be surprised if we still have the lot of them, although i think we defintely need some new blood up front.  Unfortunately we can't spend £40m odd plus another £11m in wages each year on someone....that would be nice.

Jay,

You are not the only club to have duped them into parting with 20 million pounds plus for mediocre players. If anything they are now spending 30 million plus on similar standard players. They have now payed over 20 million for 10 players compared to 3 for Utd, 4 for Chelsea, 3 for Liverpool and none for Arsenal. They simply have to win the league and CL with that outlay, there can be no more excuses as Mancini has bought 8 of those players. The time is now for them, no more "we are coming to get you, tick tock" nonsense! its now or never!

Fellas,

Not content with spending £20 million plus each on 10 players (none of them worth more than £10 million to normal clubs) We wake up this morning to the quote from Mancini that he still requires another two players to make a serious bid for the top prizes and he brazenly talks about other teams players in a clear bid to unsettle them. This on a day when the local loyal Michael Johnson goes out on loan to Leicester with City stumping up a portion of his salary. This is what happens when you give a set of people with absolutely no class unlimited funds. You cannot expect them to police themselves to any sort of decent acceptable standard and the authorities must step in and do it for them before our game is ruined. I mean, they still have not had the common decency to buy the ground off us Manchester taxpayers. Why should they be able to cut a deal for 400 million pounds renaming a facility that is not theirs? every other club in the league has to risk going bankrupt if they want a new stadium, the bitters have been handed one free, it is just not right.

I am ranting a bit, I know, best to wait for the action to start so we can all sit back and watch it unravel in the most amusing manner, then next close season when they have failed again watch them repeat the sad sorry process all over again.

I agree they should stump up the cash for the stadium as they could easily afford it but your rantings are beginning to sound like the noise and fuzz of a very scared man!!

Dakey,

If they repeat this process again next season, half the home crowd will be players!!

Initially I thought it would be good for the league but they are being absurd with their money....forget about how many players cost over £20m. how many are getting paid £200k/week? You'd feel like a poor man if you were with city and only on a measly £75k/week!!

Jay,

Dont really pay that much attention to what other teams are doing to catch up. Its just so amusing to watch the goings on at Eastlands that I would liken it to the latest 160 million pound euro lottery winners dabbling in the stock market with their winnings, Yes they have got the money, but havent a clue what they are doing with it. As long as we invest wisely in good young players to bolster our squad then we are .going to stay ahead of the pack and no amount of panic, manic buying is going to alter that.

Cheers, Dakey

Dakey,

It'll all end in tears eventually. Someone will lose interest and then they'll be following something else down the pan (Leeds, Portsmouth, etc). But the players they've bught will be laughing all the way to their subs bench !

Are you actually for real!!

Just read back a few replies!!! Dakey you're absolutely terrified.

Already making excuses for when we win the stuff. Not owning stadium DERR!!  Read your evening news Dakey

What we should do is just stop playing with you boys and leave you to your own games, cos you're too rich, and too good and if you win somefin then we'll tell our mummies and you'll be in for it then ,,,,,,,,,Pathetic

A 3 year plan given to Mancini working perfectly well on target.

When are you goin to sign these good young players Dakey, 56 million on that dross

Anyway you've just bought it, just like Chelsea did and just like,,,,,,,  ohh sorry we did.

And they might even buy more players and then where will we be and what if they buy Tevez and Rooney and,,,,, Its gettin very very scary eh.

Yes Dave,

Won every pre season game including Barca in front of 81,000 fans (about three home games for City in the council house). Yes,absolutely terrified of the bitters and developing the slums around the ground is not the same as buying the ground, mate, If understanding my posts is a little difficult for you then get someone else to read them out for you, as they are not doing their job properly.

Dave,

After reading your rambling post again, i thought I had better check my facts as I dont want to come across as ignorant. your owners signed an extention to the 250 year lease in Oct 2010 and changed the terms of the rent to a flat £3 million pounds a year from a deal that included money from gate receipts. A good deal for the council may I add as anything linked to gates at City is on very dodgy ground. The deal included a redevelopment of the area around the ground with a possible extension of the ground capacity to 60,000. something that your owners are having second thoughts about as you only averaged 45,900 in a ground that holds 48,900. (wikipedias figures, not mine).  The deal to rename a stadium that is not yours only went ahead when the council was granted an extra £20 million pounds a year out of the proceeds. Now that is a bad deal for us Manchester taxpayers as I could not rename my council house, if I had one, and profit from it.

So before you develop anything or buy any more players for £38 million pounds, you should stump up £400 million pounds for the ground and then you can spend your money on what you like and I wont keep making reference to it as other clubs have gone in to massive debt for new stadiums, so all I am saying is that you should be forced to buy the stadium before being allowed to buy players for inflated fees and wages.

Those are the facts as reported on Wikipedia right up to the recent renaming of the Stadium, so if I have missed anything please feel free to update me. If not, then please stop getting so indignant when I refer to the subject, as my money helped to build the ground in the first place, so I have a right to be indignant about the current tenants.

Cheers ,Dakey

This whole thread interests me from the POV that Dakey knows so much about Ciddy and just seems entirely focussed on them and yet he's a so called manure supporter ...................... bitter is too light a word for him .......... personally i couldn't give a hoot about any other club ............

Dakey, why do you love liddle old Ciddy so much, has the North Sea air and isolation addled your mind a bit too much  ?
