Good news for all english clubs is that chelsea's 2 consecutive euro titles has improved the euro coefficient .This is very important for teams finishing 3rd and 4th (arsenal fans take note!).

Congratulations on brushing aside the mighty 'B's in consecutive rounds, Barca, Bayern and Borussia...... Whoops sorry wrong competition, You sorted out Benfica and er... Basle (fawlty)!! The master of spin Rafa reckons he can go with his head held high, that's a laugh! When he took over Chelsea were 4 points behind Utd and you are now SIXTEEN points adrift. You were also in everything else and got turfed out of them all unceremoniously and that is the only reason you were in a position to win the LOSERS cup in the first place. Abject failure is the term I would use to describe his tenure but no doubt someone else will be offering him a plum job next which absolutely baffles the hell out of me. You never know Mr Mancini might roll up as he has vast experience of spending unearned income so he has the credentials.
Finally, congratulations to Utd, Swansea and Wigan who won the proper trophies with the big one still to be decided by the German clubs.

dakey, have you ever won the europa cup. no. thats why you dont rate it. and if you think winning the league or fa cup is more important then you are a sad jealous old man. we beat manu 3 times. we beat arsenal home and away. we won at spurs. but the best day of the season was yesterday when we did england proud and won another european trophy. yes we were in alot of comps. but that was only because we are successful and therefore qualified for them
your lot only took 1 comp seriously. at least we compete 100% in everything we entered
and btw we beat bayern and barca last season lest you forgot. now remind me , how many decent teams have man u beaten in euope in the last few years-lol.
as for rafa i dont like him but i have utmost respect for the way against all the odds he got the team to play their hearts out for him and the way he rotated the squad who played 2 games a week nearly every week since xmas. i wonder if our total games in one season is a record? go on dakey get your calculator out.

Look for solace in any desperate direction George. You won something that was open to you (unlike City) but it was the fifth most important tournament open to PL clubs. I notice you've stopped going on about your youth team since they got beat by Norwich?
Chelsea have got some good players and if Jose goes there in the summer you'll be a stronger force in the major competitions next season. Your problem maybe he might hang onto the older less acceptable members of the squad - if he has the balls to get shot of Terry and a few others the team may develop its own new identity.through the younsters.
Anyway, as I say, the Europa league is better than nothing! Enjoy the summer.

and as for our youth kev, they got to 2 finals this year and beat barca. so i think there is alot of talent there. btw how did your youths do? have you got a youth team-lol

George Big difference... You were the one shooting your mouth of about your lot none of whom will ever be given a chance in your first team. Face it, Chelsea are the champions, the champions of losers! Jay, if Rooney goes I'll be amazed if he goes to another English kid. But I'll be happy if he goes at the moment.

Mmmmmmm Now the season is over and I am back on the Dakey gloating forum..at least for one more year.. Fergie gone great no one can do better. Good Look back at past posts you will see that I always state top for will remain AGAIN !!! Spurs fail AGAIN.. Same record... By the way were have all the spurs fans gone... Man C matched our trophy hall spent a few more quid though.... Lol Goes down as a good chelski year well done... Mersyside a poor showing again....and again and again.. Well next year big name signings by my boys.. Big names with big fees and wages at he arsenal. Ending in us winning numerous trophies ..... Well at least this is the time to dream until August unlike spurs who have been dreaming of CL footie for years and that ain't gonna happen either... Dakey,GED,Dave,George,Kev,andy and not forgetting Shane (where's he gone?) and all others on here it's been a pleasure again and keep it fun if not honest.. See you all in the summer. Neil

You make a good point, as usual, about George going quiet on the youth players defeat to Norwich. Anyone who knows anything about football will tell you that there is a 3 or 4 year further learning curve from the youth teams to becoming a first team regular and not many Chelsea players have bridged that gap. The PL have recognised that extra learning period after promptings from the clubs and this year set up an under 21 premier league for just such players to flourish. I am sure that I don't need to remind you that Utds under 21s beat Spurs the other night to secure that title and what a tribute that is to the state of the club left by the great man. Not only have we won the main PL by a million miles, the next generation of players have won the Under 21 league! now that is a frightening prospect for all the other, pretending to be, big clubs.
