What a game at yesterday.
Arsenal were amazing and really put Citeh through their paces and had em well on the ropes for very long periods.
For the first time we look equipped to compete against the bank rolled ones and with a change of heart in defending set pieces zonally then I think its going to be a great season.
From a citeh point of view very cynical and very clinical. We got away with the handball but they even themselves out in the long run. They did hit the post twice but callum chambers just did enough to put kolavrov off and if Dzeko's had of gone in it would of been because Koscielny kicked it aginst him and that would of been very harsh. On the other hand had welbeck's quality chip gone in I htink we'd of run out comfortable winners.
Jack is back!!!! and on what I saw yesterday Danny Welbeck will do a lot better than you think Dakey.
Bring on the germans.

Just got back from a lovely cruise round the adriatic to watch the Gaal acticos begin to turn our season around. I know it was only QPR but that was impressive for a starter. cant believe with all the nonsense spouted on here that we are within 2 points of Arsenal, city, liverpool and spurs. A couple more weeks and we will be past those and on the heels of chelsea.
I have to agree with Chaddy on this rare occasion, since when were you allowed to punch someone to the floor for tight marking? costa is a train crash waiting to happen. I never thought that Chelsea would have a bigger thug than terry, but he looks set to challenge him for that title.
Much better feel about it all now and it is only going to get better.

not sure who you are talking about rio but as long as we keep scoring more than the oppo im happy.hard game on sunday but nice to be in a position we can afford to lose and its not the end of the world.
dakey enjoy your mid week break mate, nice rest for falcao! and as for costa its nice to see a centreforward who gives as good as he gets as shearer quite rightly pointed out, amd a shove is not quite the same as a fist so get your facts right!

Looked like a right jab and left hook to me George.....in my unbiased opinion. Team bonding down at Carrington this week ready for next weekend without any pointless European football to get in the way of our assault on the title. I say pointless because unless you are the team that actually wins it, what is the point?

dakey winning obviously is the main goal, but remember fotballers want to play against the best in europe and of course there is a lt of revenue from these games. so if man u fail to qualify again then you will not only fail to attract the best players but also take a big revenue hit so you wont be able to throw the cash around again as per citeh!

George,
Out of Europe so we cant attract top players eh? Have you been hibernating through this last transfer window? Utd will always be a top destination for the top players it was only a question of the owners spending some of our EARNED income on the squad and for the moment it looks like they are prepared to do that, so watch this space. CR7 next! Who needs defenders (lol)

Just been looking at the stats and after the opening day disaster Utd have 5 points from the 3 games since. City and Spurs have 4 points and Arsenal and Liverpool 3 points, so with the exception of Chelsea we have been better than the other contenders over those 3 games......and we have only just started!!
Looking at Liverpool and Arsenal they both got 3 points from those 3 games, Arsenal have not lost any and Liverpool lost 2 out of 3 but gained the same number of points. It just highlights that too many draws are as bad as defeats in the 3 points for a win system.
