Dave,
No point in getting into a protracted debate at this early stage, suffice to say we will be top at the ten game mark and more importantly top after 38 games, winning most of the knockout comps as well will not distract us from that main goal!!
Cheers, Dakey

I've never seen so much analyzing, dissecting and reasoning what went on after one match, including all our lads in work this morning
The simple truth is........................................"your not very good"

So old Ade has finally moved...I am finding it ironic that City are paying him more to play for us than we are!!
Well thats if the figures I have read are accurate.

Fellas,
Lets be fair, City Spurs and Adebayour all had to compromise to make the deal happen. City finally took a tough stance and told Spurs their final offer was that they would pay Spurs a one off £5million to take him off their books and they were adamant they would only pay his salary for 15 years...... Spurs reluctantly accepted and the deal went through.

Well we know what happens to the house built on sand!!
I now see that we r selling Dawson to maybe set-off the cost of Ade. Thank god City are paying most of his wages or we'd be selling another player.
I hope AVB is good as everyone thought because he will have his work cut out for him witha squad of 2 strikers and 3 centre halves. Maybe he's seen something in our reserve players that everyone's missed!!
I am only thankful that the likes of Pool are starting this season like they played last season.

The problem is Rodgers lost with Swansea playing his style of football against teams even when he dominated possession and now he has less talent to work with...he's not a miracle worker.

George,
The first 3 words of your post are spot on IT WONT LAST! First of all how can we be bottom? quite a few teams conceded more than one goal, but if you are saying goal difference doesnt count then we must be joint champions then. I see your latest win came yet again courtesey of a late offside goal, do linesmen lose the gift of sight when they trot out at the bridge? I would be more worried about the Mighty Reading pinning you in your area for the whole 5 minutes of injury time, yes READING!!! and this is Chelsea at HOME that I am talking about. I think if Chelsea and City are our main rivals for the title on the evidence so far we have very little to worry about.

And after Manure's showing at Everton then if they are our closest challengers then we have nothing to worry about
I do worry for Skiverpool tho ............

Dakey, i hope you noticed that a small team from london was camped in the man u goalmouth and nearly got a deserved equaliser. Just a quick question was there a singing ban on? Sounded like a morgue-lol.
On another note watched the chelsea game and was again very impressed with hazard who like mata is starting to bring the best out of torres. Be interesting to see the new title odds!

George,
Congratulations on a 100% start, but Wigan away followed by Reading at home and then a Newcastle team that has the worst away recod in the capital city than any other club in the history of the Premier league would hardly constitute a difficult opening to the campaign would it mate? I reiterate, lets have a little look at the ten game mark to get a real feel for it. Everton away then A Fulham team that has won the opening game by 5 was a stiff start for us especially with so many centre halves crocked, but the first win under the belt and we are up and away. I thought our best player yesterday was Andersona a nd the kid just needs a run of games without injury to fulfill his potential, but who would have thought at this stage that two mid table johnies Chelsea and Swansea would be topping the pile, but they will slide back to their normal positions once it all settles down so enjoy it while you can. I must add though that Mr Hazard looks a top player so it just goes to show that choosing money over the chance to win trophies does not automatically make him a bad player, its just that in a couple of years when he just has his money to count and no silverware, then he may live to regret his choice of clubs.

Just a quick check on last years silverware dakey
Man u - no major trophies
Chelsea - Champions league winners and FA cup winners..
Maybe thats why Hazard chose Chelsea.
But good effort in trying to buy the league with RVP . Now he really did go for the money, money money.

Off on a stretcher for a cut? had a bigger cut than that shaving!
