George Saw it live then again on motd two ex strikers of the highest quality said no penalty. All the papers say no penalty. All the reasonable Chelsea fans in the pub said no penalty but you and the chosen bum say def penalty some times you need to eat a little humble pie and admit you got lucky it will give you some credibility in the future but if you continue with your blinkered opinions you will continue to live in Dakey land and your comments will be regarded as comical dross. Today we face our stiffest test but now we go into the game with more than a ray of hope 3 points will be unbelievable but a point will always be taken at Trafford roll on 5 o'clock it will be a corker. dakey, as usual you are showing up your lack of football knowledge. if 1 pkayer is in front of another then it cannot be shoulder to shoulder, unless of course one has a shoulder in the middle of his back and the other a shoulder in his tummy. also i note that you havent spotted that ivan was held down for their first goal and shoved over for their second. again showing you didnt really see the whole game or the slo mo highlighs.
however i do suggest you concentrate on your own team who are in serious danger of being mullered by the 3d best team from london tonight.

I'm dreaming, i agree with Dakey,
Ramierez was already diving before the defender touched him. Ref was already reaching for his whistle before contact was made. Shocking decision.
As for what goes on at corners then as all the players do it to each other then until they stop then i'd never give a penalty or free kick as you'd be punishing one offence when there probably 5 others happening at the same time and dozens of times in the match - the players need to put their own house in order before moaning when it goes against them.
I also agree with Neil & Jay - Come on you gooners !!

Dive Dive Dive All day long!! George when are you ever gonna learn mate. Your plastic little outfit has little or no credibility from us other teams as it is and you'd do we'll to offer a truthful and honest opinion at least once a season. This is your chance ..... Come out and say it how it is and how the rest of the world saw it and earn yourself some small respect. Otherwise the status quo will remain with your mob and your opinions. Jay

Keep the capital one cup forever mate as we have no interest in it. Keep your delusions about our jealousy too as we'll as your mad views on football apart the krull statement which I'm strangely agreeing with. Jay

Get beat playing our game then fair enough. Get beat playing a glorified Everton team and a header by the skunk from a free kick is hard to take :( Our worst performance of the season and even I have to say we bottled it. Still results went our way so not a disaster but really wouldn't watch that shite every week. Jay

I have always respected your opinions on football Jason, and your ability to see beyond the normal blinkered eyes. However I have to say, your comments below do smack of a rather bitter fan, who once again can see the pretty tippy-tappy football perhaps ending with nowt again. I actually I think you guys will go on and win the league, and accepting that we are unlikely to do so in our year of transition, I would have no quarms if you lot did.
However, the outcome, as I forecasted yesteday, was well deserved & just exposed what we all no. Losse a key man, from a key postion & there is just no quality cover.
Now then, after a good nights sleep, brush yourself down, accept defeat gracefully like a decent fellow - just as we do on such occasions (he he), apologise for your antics below, and weare good-2-go again after the international break. There's a good chap..!!

Jay,
Arsenal had 20 minutes of poccession after half time and that is because Vidic went off and we lost Jones out of the midfield he was bossing. That was De Gea's easiest 90 minutes for a long long time and now we are back in touch and on a run I think everyone, if they are honest, know where this is going to end come next May.
Nice to see the billionaire squad get done by Utds ex pats up at Sunderland. I remind everyone of my comments pre season where I merely pointed out that a manager and new players with no PL experience would come to grief and with 4 defeats already on the road that is exactly what has happened to the bitters. The problem is they are used to playing in a half empty stadium in almost total silence and these full houses with passionate fans at the away games unnerves them.

All A great win today and we're starting to click again. Atmosphere in the stadium magnificent which reflected a real Champions performance. You can have any take on it you like Jay but you didn't play because we didn't let you. RVP keeping up his record of always scoring against his old club, Rooney, Jones, Evra and Valencia immense, all putting in a good shift. Other results went our way and looks like even our transition season may be better than first thought. Great stuff and still a long way to go.

great super sunday with all the undergogs winning, l'arse showing their limittions when playing anyone decent. against dortmund twice, chelsea and the dinosaurs team hardly created any chances. their 1st big chance for silverware since the boar war was in the capital cup and they blew it.

First of all well done utd a good win desperately needed and now closes up the top again point behind chelski and above city you must be pleased. Your right some of yours put in a great shift especially Rooney his effort was super. One of our worst performances of the season and we only lose by the single so hope but punishment for having a squad that is to light and playing the same players in the champions league But with all the rest of the results not that bad. Neil

Evening Gents
Have to say a good workman like performance by us yesterday although we are still not fully firing yet, thought Jones was superb and for me man of the match, really surprised with Arsenal thought they were poor, good weekend of reults although the dippers are quietly plodding along.
A few difficult games coming up as Cardiff and Spurs away wont be easy and Everton always give us a run for our money, by end of Dec the league will start to shake out and we will be there or there abouts however Im still (as I was at start of season as mentioned on this forum) convinced we wont win it.
Â
Anyway onwards and upwards as they say.

Had time to calm down and the Stella Quattro has now well and truly worn off. Apologies for my rather vitriolic outburst but it was born out of sheer frustration and aforementioned Stella 4!! The frustration comes genuinely from what I honestly believe to be our worst performance of the season and I include the villa game in that. We were simply abysmal from start to finish hardly troubling DeGea at all. That is the first game this season in the league that we have not scored and to be fair we never looked likely. Utd done a job and it was a professional job but in all honesty a goal akin to stoke from a shoulder-header and then a second half shot from Rooney was all that we had to contend with. The problem was that was more than what we could offer and apart from three very good crosses from Sagna that was basically that. So I personally don't think much of either side on purely yesterday's performance and each team would do well to prevail come May. I seriously have my doubts now and with Southampton up next that is a game that should make Arsene think long and hard about because they are good team that are bang in form. Jay

Jay,
You must have been pissed you havnt mentioned the best chance of the game when Smalling messed up his header from 6 yards. Our record against the Gunners is so good that when we have a bit of a dip we all get out the fixture list to see when we play you again just for a confidence boost! As I said its one thing beating Bayern and Dortmund away but winning at the theatre is a completely different ballgame. The thing for us now is to keep it going and that is going to be tricky as we have 3 stonking away games on the bash now so fingers crossed.
