been away - can still barely believe those 2 and a half minutes of mayhem at Goodison but in retrpospect its been obvious for weeks the boys have run out of steam. There's absolutely no energy in the team and one can only wonder what the rest of the season holds. More speculation about Moyes but I'll respect his decision whatever it is. We need a larger squad and investment, that's the bottom line - many options for the club which is in many ways at a crossroads - interesting as ever, but Wigan deserved it and why shouldn't they win it !
Arsenal recovered some pride last night but never seriously threatened, Spurs squeaked through, Chelski on the brink of going out as I write and the geordies in a battle. Can an EPL team salvage something in the minor European competition ?
Dakey, what's your opinion on leaving Rooney our vs Real ? We'll take him back if you want rid.

Chaddy, LOL Outplayed by the ten man better team. Even perfectly good disallowed goals, a stonewall penalty turned down and getting an opponent sent off couldn't help you. What has all that money been spent on? You're going to have to spend it again to compete. Another efficient three points for the reds. I sense a long period of gloating and the disappearance of any City posts ahead.

Don't upset Chaddy, he is the only blue nose shite that has had the bottle to still have the banter. The rest have toddled off to a monastary or some other far flung location where they cant be reminded that their brief encounter with the top table is over. I can see Spurs and Arsenal and Everton next year as the main contenders and the morally repugnant crews nowhere.
As for this season I cant see anyone reaching the points we have now so it is all over and no shouting needed. I have to agree with the great one as well when he says we cant all be lumped in as one big failure in the CL. Everyone knows we were robbed by a cheating English hating Ref just as we had the tie won and even Arsenal were punished for one bad home performance only, so unlucky is the right word there. The other two were just abject failures in the group stage so any criticism of their performance level is completely justified. Nice break now for internationals and if players are supposed to be picked on form then no one is playing better than Rio at the moment so completely justified selection there.

Kev, lets get back to CL shall we? City were indeed poor yesterday but sending off was correct along with their offside goal! Manure however have won the league on jammy 1 nil games like yesterday! We will have to make do with FA cup and runners up and take back our title next year! Whatever the cost lol

Well that was some result and what a turnaround after the Wigan debacle. So last season we cost Utd the title and this year we just gave them a little helping hand. Maybe as a thank you Fergie will sell Rooney back to us for a couple of mil if he no longer fancies him and that might just lift us to top 4 next year. Think we still need a bit if a miracle to do it this season. Moyes certainly has the Indian sign over Mancini, he must be heartily sick of Everton. I thought cites display was similar to ours last week which was lack lustre and had little or no fight. I think they know its all over.

I think with us about to win our 13th premier league and quite possibly by both a record number of points and also a record margin ( which we also hold, 18 points) compared to your flukey win on goal difference to give you a grand total of ONE. The term "win back OUR title" stretches the imagination to breaking point! We are talking about the English PL, not the twilight zone. Your time of winning titles has been brief and is most definately over for the forseeable future.

As good a performance as that was by Everton, its not difficult to turn over that bunch of shite from the Emptihad these days is it mate? If you do it against decent standard teams like say QPR or Sunderland then I would take my hat off to you. Keep it up as 4th place is still very much in the melting pot for about 5 teams.

We have scored 69 goals in 29 games which if my maths is correct is a bit more than 1-0 wins with a goal difference of a massive 13 better than your basket case club. Dont let the facts get in the way of your rambling ever more bitter posts mate. You are beginning to sound a bit like your brothers in arms City Dave Roy and Shampers, who have vanished off the face of the earth so they dont have to try and justify the crap we are seeing coming out of east manchester.
