Nope.btw did you know that the replay in 1970 in had 28.5 mio viewers, more than the charles and diane wedding and the biggest UK sporting audience ever besides the 66 WC final. there has never been or never will be any league teams that get as many viewers than this. sorry to disappoint all those people that thought chelsea were formed in 2004.

I recognise that the Chelski had a tad more history than 2004 George. I think the number 2004 was the actual attendance for a game at the bridge in the early 80's when you were playing in the Zenith / Simod cup on a regular basis........regularaly less than 10,000.......in those days George. The history books don't lie
I do actually remember the Cup game, wee Davie Webb rising to meet a long throw from Hucth the Hurl, if memory serves me right......I also remmeber Ron 'chopper' Harris from a League Cup game form the same era, having about 3 goes at Besty as he broke free, missed with them all, despite Besty running with the ball, as he rounds Bonetti to score in fornt of the Stretford End. Pure Genius..!!

What you forget is that in those days there were only 3 TV channels so the choice was between the match, Sooty and the news. on the night I think Sooty edged it.

On the subject of the Arsenal fan losing his house, I see other items on the link say one other Arsenal fan hung himself after another defeat. He apparently was wearing womens make up, a wig, stockings, suspenders and his Arsenal shirt, because of the latter item the police would not publish details to save his family from embarrasment!

I have only watched it once but I think the goalscorer was marked by Jagielka who let him run away, he jumped near Smalling but was not Smallings man who I happened to think was our MOM. How far backwards has the little bandy legged chain smoker from the gunners gone. He just doesnt look like a fraction of the player he was before his injuries.Anyway I am glad it is over as watching England depresses me terribly these days. I havent looked for the stats book but I can not remember EVER England losing two games on the bash at Wembley! thats how bad we are now.

Smelling and stupidly ......I don't get it!! As for Jack he's way off form and its reminding me of how bad Ramsey was over the last year or so but class is permanent and JW will be back eventually. I see the media and fans are clambering for JT to come back. Well he was hung drawn and quatered in a kangaroo court by the FA , dakey and jay amongst others even though proved innocent in a court of law so i just think he should tell the FA to do one if asked. We will go out at QF stage anyway. Looks like we are stuck with Smalling- wey hey, well done folks.
