Congratulations to Atletico, better team won on the night. Should be a cracking final but i hope atletico do the double. Always been one of my favorite spanish teams along with valencia. Nice to see some gentlemanly comments on here supporting english teams in europe. Unfortunately the team that always finishes 4th so gains the most by chelsea's fantastic european record has one of the least gracious fans.

You must keep up the good work in Europe as we cant help you next year for one season only. If we were given a coefficient based on Citys european performances we would all be lucky to qualify for the Johnstones paint trophy.

I apologise George The jubilation got the better of me. Please get Jose and Putin's lapdog to carry on spending to ensure that his record in champions league semi finals is maintained. That way the rest of us can capitalise on your hideous overspending. Win win or win get to semi and lose!! Nice ;)

6-0 happy memories. lol and btw jay i think if you check your history book we got to 2 european titles in the last 2 years and won them both, and i also think youll find jose has won the cl twice. now remind me jay how many times have your little lot won a european competition in recent years. maybe you should goodle french military victories!

Tough last night George. Not easy to accept a semi final defeat. Athletico were definitely the better on the night - I think you lost it more from the first leg than the second. You were in a precarious position with the away goal rule. Focus on the PL now and then the usual debate over what's going to happen next season!

The main difference last night was that Chelsea had a 41 year old keeper in the sticks and Madrid had a young, hungry keeper on tip top form........If only Chelsea had a young keeper like that to rely on!!..... Whoops.

There is a more than fair chance that the gunners will win something this year and you will end up with nothing. Like the saying goes, you are only as good as your last trophy and that is going to make Jay an absolute nightmare for you for the next few months. Be prepared, it is coming your way!

If like everyone hopes chelski end up with Nish then pound for reubel that has got to be the biggest ever failure recorded in football history.
To spend the sort cash that chelski and citeh have spent for that return should result in "the special semi final failure one" getting the sack for his inept tactical bus parking 19th century anti football style that resulted in you being totally humiliated at home and your racist captain in tears yet again.

And yes they'll probably be a quarter of million of us in upper street having a drink and some food if we win the F A cup but then again we have been doing that for decades so it's nothing new and we're used to it mate unlike you.

Jay, I'm very surprised you are supporting Liverpool at weekend, a team that has lost £90m over the last two years, and hatched a devious plan to escape the UFFP rules by simply not qualifying for Europe, wonder why the Manure didn't think of that?

In 1995 Liverpool played Blackburn in the last match at Anfield and all the supporters wanted them to throw the game for King Kenny to win the league over UTD. The team unlike the fans showed true integrity and beat Blackburn 2-1 and forever went up in my estimation, even though Utd didnt get the win at West Ham and Blackburn won it anyway.
Everton are now in a similar position, the fans want them to lie down and roll over but I have a feeling that the players, like liverpools all those years ago have too much integrity to do that. Now whether they are good enough is another matter. We shall see tomorrow.

Squeaky bum time, and clearly a few are squeaking. Only a couple more games till Dakey can tell us all that the first 38 fixtures have been drawn unfavourably for them but it will sort itself at by the end of sept, oct, nov, xmas, dec, jan, feb, mar, easter, april, may .................. the next season
Was in our office in Colwyn Bay last Monday, one rag, one Chelski, one red scouse and me, no-one knew who they wanted to win against who ................ hobson's choice for a great end to this season, here's to more like this.
Now c'mon City, and the birds of Norwich & Palace, let's be having you, you know what's needed
