Dave - Missed that, many congrats Grandad.
Ged/Jay - We can watch City and Chelski contest that pre-season warm up game  and Jay, yep she is a pretty decent footballer as she's been in Utd's ladies academy for a few years now, unfortunately she's not coming out thsi time as she's a ballgirl at all the games at The Swamp for the Olympics, so it's the 8 year old with 2 left feet that's out.

You must be gutted, a beautiful ENGLISH rose for a granddaughter and a Utd fan as well. Well done to your son in law, but if he is from Manchester the overwhelming odds are that he is a Utd fan. You just need to behave yourself and keep your blue tendancies in check and they might let you see her now and again.

Well fellas just thought I'd check in from the far east. As a blues fan to see we have a new front line of hazrd,hulk and Torres with mata to feed the bullets I must admit I'm really looking forward to next season. One interesting thing about the far east is that although man u are the best supported team out here the only other shirts you see are Chelsea. Haven't seen one spurs, Liverpool or arsenal kit. All the taxi drivers also have either man u or Chelsea pendants. And with this area of the world in a decent economic situation it's a great market to tap.

I would kind of expect Chelski to reasonably liked in Dubai. It makes sence when you think about it, the simalarities are obvious. A totally wealth created souless set up with a load of johnny come lately's knocking about hoping to piggy back and glory hunt off the wealth of some financially corrupted and morally deficiant individuals!! 
Do you reckon you might be able to qualify for champions league legitimately next year?

Never happy with third mate. Happy enough to sit tight for a year maybe pick up a trophy and wait for FFP to kick in and play against the lot of you sugar daddy boys on a level playing field. Are you gonna get a man size stadium (not that you'd fill it) at any point in the future? I think you'll end up somewhere near heathrow which'll be handy for Roman to ship in his reubles! Jay

I'm simply amazed. With about 2 months to the new season we sack the manager who has got us 4th, 5th, 4th in last 3 seasons.
We are all biased to towards our teams but I find it hard to believe that many Spurs supporters would consider the last 3 seasons a failure. And if this is based on CL football...well Harry got the 4th spot and was unlucky. Yeah we fell away, but we fell away from being right near the top.
So yet again just as a manager starts getting some results (like Jol) we give him the boot.
Do we now sack a manager unless they get 3rd!!! I like ambition but.......

Lets be honest he lost his head when he was touting himself for the Engalnd job, he wound Levy up with constantly shooting his mouth off to the press every 5 seconds.
that and his put down of the fans, not forgetting 'we haven't had it so good' & 'this is as good as it get's' quotes.
I'd like to thank him for all he has done but he disrepected the club which pays his wages with all this Englland talk and had his head turned and I will for one be glad to see the back of him.
Will be interesting to see who replaces him? Benitez, Moyes, Martinez????

I just hope they sort it out fast. If a new manager wants to bring in people and change around a few players you want it done well before the season starts.
