Their minds were probably elsewhere, on how to avoid the roadworks on the M6 around Birmingham, the M40 around Oxford and the M25 in KentÂ

Oh deary, deary me. Man ushited well and truly played off the park on their own patch by bottom 3 Blunderland. Bad, bad, times for the prawn sandwitch brigade. Normally, when Man U get a 'fergie time' equaliser the end is nigh for the opposition but tonight is a reflection on how far the mighty have fallen. Europa league will be a result for the reds this season.

15 years ago in May I went to Barcelona for a couple of nights midweek , took a couple of mates on A trip of a lifetime for them, then 2 days later I went for a long bank holiday in London to see a couple of lowly north western teams, who could have dreamt of 15 years later

Keep your chin up lads, the one positive that may come of our dismal form is the Glazer family may look to sell, trophies are going to be hard to come by this season (in otherwords we are going to win bob all), we are no longer in the top 3 rich list of football clubs around the world, the share price is on its way down fast and they are never going to fund the overhaul we need (Mata money is nothing compared to what we do need to spend) so there maybe some light from a very disapointing season.
I still believe Moyes will turn things around and we will make that fourth place in Prem however if it doesnt happen at least we may get to go to a few new grounds/towns/cities in the Channel 5 cup.
Everyone has an opinion on our plight and I may be scathing in my assesment of our players but Anderson (now on loan in Italy), Cleverley, Valencia, Nani, Buttner are just not good enough, the pea may leave as not enough game time, Rio,Giggs to old and slow, Vidic one season left in him at best, Rooney off in summer, RVP (possible one season wonder) Fellani jury out and Mata we wait and see (although good player for both Valencia and Chelsea). Ive high hopes for Smalling, Jones, Rafael, De Gea, Januzai, Zaha and Welbeck who all have planty of years left in them and will get better and better so its not all bad.
Although its been a tough season so far Ive had a few laughs along the way as its like being a teenager again following United with big Ron's red and white army, keep smiling at the ABU brigade and keep the red flag flying high.

Spot on Ged. I don't think things are too bad given the transition we're going through. The rebuilding has restarted and the fact that Chelsea's player of the year for the last two years would rather come and play for us speaks volumes. Their tactics of trying to buy any and every player and then put them out on loan is a disgrace. As for Grandad Pellegrini and Grandad Arsene's moaning it's hilarious. We made a long term appointment in Moyes and it will come good in time. Come on you Reds!

Good sensible comments Ged, but we are not as bad as you fear. We have had some awful luck with injuries and well just plain awful bad luck. We could easily have won practically every game we have lost except the City fiasco and under Fergie may well have done. Rooney and RVP have been on the losing side ONCE in 34 games playing together and that is the nub of it. If they had stayed fit we would be in the mix. We have to get them fit and string some wins together as I am the eternal optimist so bring on the CL in Feb, its as good as ours mate.

dakey  youre quite right you could have won at chelsea as you scored a goal, but of course you would have had to chalk off the 3 we got before then, keep dreaming mate, and as for mata goin to manure we get 37 mio quid and you get a bench warmer who doesnt track back. he plays the number 10 role which rooney plays so not sure how thatll work if you have a striker as well.also the fact you refused to sell us rooney and we were happy to sell you mata shows who the big club is now hehe
