In the scheme of things that actually sounds good news, where did your solicitor get his source of information which you would like to believe is more credible. Best wishes Mike

Hi All

Haven't posted for a while, thanks for all your hard work and keeping us up to date with whats happening,  I think we are going to sit it out until October and then decide what course of action we are going to take.

I Personally think Urbasa are doing this on purpose, if 10 of us cancel and urbasa sell them 10 for 20 grand more a peice they make 200,000 pounds extra   I really cant see anybody building a building that much 75/80 % then leaving it, so someone else can make all that money unless they was going to make more of a profit by making us wait

I could be wrong urbasa could go bust and lose all that money but i dont think they are that thick

I really think they have some brains behind there madness and they are keeping us waiting on purpose

all of  you should do what you think is best for yourselves but i am going to old fire that bit longer

i have no proof they are going to go bust - I do know some people they owe money to but once amarion 111 is ready they will proberbly pay of there debts and have some left over for themselves

It doesnt sound like a good company to do buisness with but a lot of us are stuck now unless we take them to court and spend more money on solicitors and court fees and if they are going to go bust then that means they have no money to pay us anyway so i say why spend more money

it really is up to you lot were you go from here and please dont blame me if it goes wrong but this is what i think

Hi

I have found another development called Le Meridian in Benissa which Urbasa havn't finished.  Looks like we are going to have to get in line.  Who knows how many more unfinished developments there are and people wanting their money back.  This will all add to the financial stress Urbasa is in. It's not just our development which is 80% finished.

I wonder who decide which ones gets done first?

hi Amarionaires,  we've just arrived back from Almoradi and sad to say the building lookes exactly the same as its looked these past 2 years apart from the garage which has been cleaned up a little, the water having been removed. The one other thing that is different is that the house martins have taken up residence and built their little homes on the balconies of some of the apartments  We did go into the office of Urbasa and Laura looked up as I walked and the expression on her face when I asked about Amarion 111 told me she was going to come out with the same sort of story again. She started going on about builders going to assess the work in 14 days when I shook my head it went to 30days.  I never asked her about the solvency issue of Urbasa as I don't think she is in the posistion to comment.

Nice photo Haydn, the cheeky little devils! Maybe thats the way to go!??? Might go build a nest INSIDE. Looks like the only way we are gonna have our apartments!

Just need to lay the floor tiles and fit the bath/shower/toilet ....then thats it we are in, with as much as they are (were) going to do for us. Clever house martins! The front door is no problem nor is changing the locks!!!

Now...anyone know a pool company to sort the pool area???

Cheers  mate

John and Trish

Hi all

Spoke with Urbasa H/O today they inform me that a letter will shortly be sent to all purchasers re the delay, they couldn’t inform me when the development   or promotion as they call it  is going to be finished but stressed they will finish it and they have no money problems as rumours have it,a new person is starting next week who will be our Amarion contact,so if any of your personnel details have changed since 2003 re moved house etc in UK you need to inform them as they seem now to be doing Palmeras work.

Another point is they are sticking with the end of Oct stance re the contract

Regards

Graham and Christine

I really hope we can believe what they say, dont you? We just feel very cynical with any news we get from them. Sorry if we seem pessamistic, we are all on the same side and are with you all the way. Just so worried  and annoyed at the thought of losing so much money. We hope with every inch of hope we get our money back or apartments finished.

Sorry if we were abrupt, and thanks for the info!

John and Trish

Hi All

Just got back from Almoradi the weather is great very hot.  Had a real good time (nice place).  Went to see Amarion III although we could see it from the flat we were renting, it was just down the road.  Bit of a wind up really - so near yet so far!!  Nothing has moved on.  We walked around the underground car park.  Someone had lit a fire in one of the storage rooms, there was a mattress down there and a piece of furniture.  We were unable to get up into the flats as they had taken the ladders away.  The block where we were staying was built by Urbasa as well.  They were pulled off Amarion III to get this one built.  Talking to a couple who own a flat there they told us that they had had quite a few problems with Urbasa, like not paying electricity bills when they moved in so they had to borrow money from a business man who bought all the flats on the second floor.  They are now having to pay him back.  They did not get a lot of back up with the snagging and had to do most of it themselves.  They agreed that Urbasa in Almoradi and Elche lie all the time and so did Palmera's solicitor.  Building is going on all around Amarion III - flats are going up like wildfire and they are all still working although it is August.  Amarion III looks a very sorry sight and is the talk of the town.  We did see the Almoradi office clearing out loads of boxes and rubbish.  I asked the woman if the office was closing, she said no only for two weeks holiday.  She confirmed that Laura had left.  We thought five car loads of rubbish was a lot and are wondering if they are going to close.  They still have Amarion III in the window and are still advertising the garages - I dont know how they have the cheek!!  Have taken some horrible photos which shows the lack of quality of build up against the newer builds around.  On a lighter note we had a good meal at Que Pasa which is just along from the Urbasa shop he is from Shepherds Bush and is very sympathetic to our cause but this doesn't mean he will take anything off the bill even though he knows us Southerners are very hard up.

Blacksmith and Kudos

Hi Philansy

Some of the shops were closing for the August holidays and some of the cafes were closed.  But there were quite a few new ones opened up since we were there last and these were open.  The portable cafes in the square are open all day and late at night and are still very busy.  They had a film show one evening in the square and all the seats were taken.  There is a new TEXMEX restaurant just opened called REDZ we had a nice meal in there.  The Saturday morning market is still going.  There is still enough open to keep the town buzzing.  Tried to put some pictures on that we had taken but they won't go through some security error or something, still you are all better off not seeing them I suppose they were only showing the bad bits of the build.  We had a really good time and are not being put off from buying in Almoradi being it Amarion or another block.  Hope you have a good holiday Philansy.

Kudos
