What's the best deal?

They have been telling me that for months now, It started along time ago they was saying ring back in a month, for the past couple of months they are saying ring back in 2 weeks

The last few times i have rang them they have told me they are not having the builders who were in elche they are having someone else ( could do with finding out who )

Now aparently they are waiting for the town halls permision - They said that with the builders in elche and they did'nt start

As for June / July  I think they are dreaming  maybe 2008   - They have told me end of summer   HOPE THEY MEAN THIS ONE

Just to let you know we have just returned from Torrevieja and met up with Laura from Urbasa who was up to par with her excuses. we visited Almoradi and I am afraid that nothing has been done since February last year.

Laura said tha  the company has still got financial problems and that they were not working in Elche but in Elda on bungalows which should have been finished at the end of January.This is the first time that I have heard of bungalows being built by a Spanish firm.

She did not seem to know, or have any idea, when the work in Elda will be completed but she thought that the earliest Amarion 111 would be finished is October or November this year.I persoally doubt this very much

The whole converstion was very indistinct and Laura seemed to be going from excuse to excuse.

I got the impression that she does not know anything about the completion dates and that she has been told to make excuses when approached by buyers of Amarion 111.

Thanks for news,  So its not really looking good for this year, I wonder if this is going to make some buyers pull out

if it was easy enough i would be thinking of pulling out its getting rediculouse now

i'm going to have another go at ringing them - could do with speaking to someone a bit higher up

Spoke with Palmera yesterday told the customer service manager the rumours about Urbasa going bust he said all builders in Spain are under big Bank pressure lately due to the big downturn in sales in Spain, he did offer some comfort re Urbasa he said they have many land assets and would be very surprised if they went bust and that most new buildings in Spain are covered by the banks and in any such event they would finish the development, they have a meeting with Urbasa after Easter when all should become more clearer however he did say that they still expected completion in the summer and nothing they have heard changes that.

With regards to Laura, have to agree lovely as she is my Cat probably knows more maybe we should take her out of the loop and concentrate more on Palmera’s H/O and Urbasa H/O tel 0034966662585, when we get news good or bad it will come from them not Laura.

I have just rang spain up on the number below and they have told me the new builders name is Promodes they would not give the telephone number

They also said they are waiting for paperwork from the townhall 

 we could do with finding out if this is true does anybody know the townhall's phone number

she said they was having money problems but they have sold some properties and have finished some work so that money is going to amarion 111

and they are not having money problems anymore

She also told me that it is May when we can get our money back if we wanted to    that is when the contract finishes

But Amarion 111 should be finished at the end of the summer

WE COULD REALLY DO WITH THE TOWNHALLS PHONE NUMBER AND SOMEONE WHO CAN SPEAK SPANISH TO ASK  IF THEY ARE TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT THIS PAPERWORK

BECAUSE I DONT BELEIVE A WORD THEY SAY NOW

I have just phoned international directory enquiries they say the number for the Town Hall in Almoradi is 0034 966782373.  We have just phoned them and it did ring out ok but nobody there tonight.  If you want to try tomorrow they might speak english, some do in the Town Hall in the town nearby so we might be lucky.  I am out tomorrow so I will not be able to ring. If you or anybody else does good luck.

Hi Gabe, would your son in law have any luck trying to call them, as you say he speaks Spanish?

i have just rang that number its a fax number sorry

i have hust found out that i am not bank bonded so if they do go bust we have had it

also i have a solicitor who i need to contact will try later will let you all know what is going on

Just to clarify, that what JPD said is correct. Today and tomorrow is definately the spanish easter. So don't expect to hear from ya solicitor for a few days Phil, But good luck anyways M8
