Just been on to Urbasa H/O spoke to the same lady as last month in the Sales dept, the latest is that funding is now in place as land has been sold and they expect the builders to recommence end of this month or the latest first week in June still saying 2-3 months for completion though, they are meeting this week with the builders at the bank I suppose the builder wants a bank guarantee which is normal. I know we have heard it all before but I must say she was very happy about the company saying all is well now and things are back to normal at long last, she was apologetic also for the delay.

I must say from her tone of voice I actually believe her but as I have said before don’t shoot the messenger

sounds good but i personally will beleive it when i or any of you see the builders there

hope ya right misty and they are not pulling the wool over ya eyes waisting a bit more time

Hi all, well, lets hope its true eh misty. We have to go out there again on 6th June, so we will pop over to Almoradi to see if we see any action again!

Having posted for a while, thanks for all the updates I hope that something is going to happen in the near future, we have no plans to go over at present can't see the point at the moment (or have the time to take off work to be able to)  look forward to hearing from you guys jetting back and forth.

I have a question.  Before Christmas when they were promising that the builders would be back on site at the beginning of January, they said that the remaining work would take 6 months to complete and we should be in by June.

They are now say that when works starts, it should take 3 months for them to finish.  Now either they've been doing to moonlighting work when we're not looking or they have managed to shave off these months worth of work somehow.

I wish they would make their minds up - is it 3 or 6 months.

I've got my NIE to sort out and I've been told that I can do this in Manchester or London but it is done through the post so will take 3 months to come through.   If I start now, it may just come back in time!!!

hi all, We recieved a e mail from rachel, after more than a weeksince we wrote to her,

we have recently been informed by the builder that letter they sent out to clients late last year still stands and this is why they havent sent any further correspondence to us or the clients. this means they are still on schedule for completion to be june/july this year. they mentioned that they are trying to finish off a number of builds at the same time and they are sharing the workforce they have between promotions.     you will be contacted once your property is ready.

Think i will send another email suggesting they go have alook at the property,as no way it will be done june/july. if we lucky it may be done for christmas.

I agree, I think she is living in cuckoo land!!! There is absolutely no chance of that building being ready for June 2007! If it is I will eat my hat and everyone elses on this site!! You just have to look at Skinners photos which were only taken end of April to see just how much is left to do.... no chance! You are right el robbo, they need to go look at the building! I suppose Rachel is just passing on what she has been told, its the people passing rubbish on to her that need to go check it out or at least stop trying to fob us off, just tell us the truth!

Hi Guys, I have not anything concrete to report was at site  4 weeks ago no change, going there later today out of curiosity, still a waiting game I am afraid. But may have some news on the legal issue and where we stand very soon. Incidentally did any of you pay 180 euros for power of attorney and we now have no solicitor or immediate office to contact. !!

Hi Mike, we luckily took back power of attorney and got a new solicitor in February. Will anyone who has it still with Palmera be able to get it back from Benalmadena office?

Hi Mike - Thought I would contact Malaga office of Palmera to find out about Power of Attorney, we also paid for it in Alicante.  Palmera  have replied to my e-mail and told me that their solicitors in Malaga will be handling it for us on completion. Thanks for all the work you are doing on our behalf.  Hopefully we will be all in the sun very soon looking back on what has been a very bad - not to be repeated - experience.

rachel worked on customer service, think she may have finished as tried to contact her again and it would not go through.Have sent palmera an e mail suggesting they go look at property. as no way it will be ready this summer and then for them to get on to builder and give us some proper and honest answers, this is reply ;

We are aware of the situation with amarion iii and we know it does not look finished and that no workmen are on site. You need to understand that we are agents and that your contractual relationship is with the builder. Builder is experiencing difficulties in finalising the work on amarion iii, we have no other option than to direct clients to the builder. I'm afraid in spain things work differently. Agent cannot legally represent clients. In this case the builder is not responding and not giving any solutions yet to clients, or answers to us, the agent,even after numerous calls and meetings etc. As builder sent out letter to clients stating completion date june/july and it is obvious it cannot happen, thenthe builder will have to inform the clients again and offer a solution.  I asure you that we will let you know as soon as we  have some information from the builder

Seems to us that now things are not running ok they don't want anything to do with us,even though when we paid deposit they said they will see us through to completion.
