In one of Mike's last posts, he says he is going to have a word with his legal people who he now works for in Spain.  Our view is that we wait and see what Mike comes back with, I am sure we can commence with action now if needed, as we have photographic evidence, please see picture on shared photos which was taken and dated November 2004, this was taken by us with James from Palmera present, they must have started work a good two months prior to this.

Hi all  I have a copy of a document  headed ACTA DE REPLANTEO E INICIO DE OBRA  which Laura sent us a while back ,which if we remember right it is something to do with the permit to build from the town hall. its all in spanish but she underlined the date which is 07 de ABRIL de 2004, then she put in pen + 36 months. as anyone else got a copy? Is this any help with the start date?

With regards to meeting up, myself and Arran are more than happy to do this are are prepared to travel a couple of hours north or south however meeting at Manchester Airport could be difficult for those travelling from the south (London, Kent, Devon etc) as this could turn into a 5+ hour  journey.  Also parking would be expensive so we could try the outskirts of Manchester near the M6. 

The Midlands is quite a good option unless we have two meeings, one in the south and the north.  We are quite lucky where we live as we can get a good distance north or south in 2 hours but I feel for those who have a long way to travel.

I think we tried this before.  As for having a solicitor present, do we know how much they would charge for their time on a weekend?

Bank Holiday weekend is good for us. When is good for everyone else?

Hi Debbie, we have not got one of those!! Keep hold of it, it could be our lifeline!

These meetings are very difficult to get everyone together. Its a great idea, but in practice how can we do it. We are East Yorkshire and willing to travel but its getting the timing and place right, if some are available others wont be. Is there no way we could all get into philansys on line chat together, you see there again we are never in Saturdays, but if  everyone was on and it was arranged early  enough, we would stay in. Dont know how they work really, our youngest is always chatting away on msn to lots of friends. Guess we could get her to type fast replies!!! Still like the meeting idea if its pos. to get us all in one place at one time!

Mind you EOS lets us put our point over look how much we have found out from here and all the new "friends" we have made.

We will go with the flow as best we can

sorry Phil, we go to Spain on Monday. Hope you get lots of people logging in. Mike may have some news by then. We are going to have a busy 10 days, but are going to try to get to Almoradi on Sat lunch time. Go to the apartment, round the market and meet up with Skinner and his wife if they are there. Dont think we will get up to Alicante to Palmera, but if we get everything sorted at Playa Flamenca will try.

Will check on here as soon as we get home for any updates,or any good news Huhh we may have for you all.

We are all just a small fish on our own....but together we could be deadly sharks in attack!

Hi all regarding cancelling and getting our money returned

Property prices in Spain are depressed at the moment with no real upturn in sight, although we are all still sitting on a tidy paper profit with regards to today relevant housing costs  Urbasa should  take into consideration when they go out of contract around 140 contracted purchasers of Amarion 111 may if Spanish property prices keep falling  request back the monies paid and just purchase elsewhere, This would leave Urbasa in an untenable position re solvency, and  with their reputation and subsequent mismanagement of nearly everything they touch, they would be lucky if anyone would touch them now with a barge pole. So if I was on the management side of Urbasa I would be moving hell on earth to get the complex finished and the money that would come from the subsequent completion banked.This is whats puzzling me why no apparent urgency from them to finish.

On the crane we were over for a month last year and it moved every day, must be a safety feature.

According to them they have had money problems and they have got land to sell but they cant do anything untill they have sold it - have they sold it ?  i dont know
