Hope you had a good easter, I must admit I haven't posted for a while pretty much given up on any possibiity that the property will be finished this year.  When we met with our solicitor we were told that they had until the middle of next year to finish if that is correct prehaps that is why they are not doing anything.  We are convinced they know exactly when it has to be finished to avoid paying any compensation and they will finish it two weeks before - we can live in hope!!!!

Thanks to everyone keeping us posted will let you know if we hearing anything I don't think we will be going back out now unless it gets finished!!!

I have just been on phone to laura and its the same old story they are still not working the building as stopped

she said they are still waiting of the town hall

she as also asked me to email her so i have - i have asked her for her boses phone number    dont think she wants to give me that tho

she still says it will be at the end of the summer   if i get a reply of her i will let you all know

Re Philansys post could you if time exists call into the Town Hall with your interpreter and nail the latest  lie about the  Town Hall or confirm otherwise

Hi all, have now spoken to Isobelle our/my solicitor. Basically messy, ^´off the record´`   very nervous about Urbassa intentions. We have been hood winked for the last 18 months what´s to say that any thing is going to change being realistic. With reference to the licence not an obligation for a new contractor, however it is feasible that Urbassa have to renew their licence because they have exceeded their permit to complete.

I have been advised for all of us as a consortium to sue Urbassa or indeed insist that they comply with their contractural obligations. Little wooly as Urbassa have not confirmed the original start date, however a judge would take a view upon this.

We must ensure that we have first charge over Amarrion III, otherwise if other creditors are already in the same process then we come down the pecking order, forget the fairness and protocal that is how it has been explained irrispective of our 20%´s .

Only sumizing but all our propertys are worth at least 30% more conservately, I think their is a hidden agenda which we must not allow to happen. It is worth our while liasing privately and forming an action group.

It is not impossible for the judge to rule in our favour, given the facts and then for us to employ a contractor independantly to finish. Bear in mind 80% finished should be able to raise finances with undertakings from new contractor and valuation.

we need to contact the town hall in almoradi to see if urbasa are telling the truth and if they are telling the truth we need to find out how long the town hall is going to take with the paperwork once we know this we know were we stand,  I have been trying to ring the town hall but they never pick there phone up

Hello Mikeb I have not posted for a while but do read up regulary on the threads, This does not sound good but you seem to know what you are talking about,If we were all to get together and do as you have said before its too late is it going to cost us all alot more money? I know we stand to lose alot more if builders goes bank and we do nothing, Oh dear what a mess.

We are prepared to contribute to sue them but like us all would need to know how much and what the prospects of a successful action against them would be , lets wait and see if Mike gets anywhere with the Town Hall.

I agree, as long as it doesn't make things worse than they already are. HUH !!!. With what i can work out, with my limited knowledge. We need to secure Amarion III, in all our names, in case of Urbassa Liquidating, is that correct.

Phew. I hate legalities. I also wish that i could speak Spanish, this is very frustrating. I feel that i need to grab someone and beat them into submission. ( or just the truth would help )

If we are going to fight this we should ask Palmera P to provide contact details of other victims, as we have all said from the start its better in numbers, and cheaper.

i have just got a email from laura this is what it says :

For the moment we don’t know when will be the completion date. As you know we have been during the last two years, economical problems due to differents reasons.

We have many lands to sell and we are now selling this lands and obtaining money, with this money we will finish all the buildings including Amarion III.

We have been problems with the last builder of Amarion III and we have change it as you know..

We think that the things are going well but we must wait a little bit, because we need to make papers with the bank and with the town hall that we are waiting for.

As soon as I know something more or any new notice I will contact with you.
