This is great news at long last!  Many thanks to Andy, Tina and everyone else who have worked so hard in SC to get this result.  You must certainly be feeling very pleased about the outcome. 

Hope the opening of the new bar goes well this evening - with Jim in charge I cannot see any problem and will look forward to going there on my next trip to SC.  Tonight will certainly be a double celebration of the news of the pool and the grand opening - oh how I wish I was over there with you all!

I do feel a bit of a cheat because it was Andy and my hubster that did most of the work. Who knows if it all had any effect or not but it couldnt of done any harm to let taray know that we are not mugs, a contract is a contract.

Hi Hallam, the new bar is were the Maype pub was and think it was a sort of internet cafe.However, we have heard its not opening tonight after all.

hi we are buying on phase 2 and every time we have spoke to taray reps they have said we will have reduced tenents rates as well as phase 1 for the leisure facilities

A big Thank You also to Tina and Andy for all the hard work they have put in regarding getting answers on the pool issue on behalf of us all, both residents and those still in the UK. It is most appreciated, well done guys on getting a result at long last.

more breaking news digger as wrong but has been replaced by portacabin watch this space

Went past the pool site at about 1.00 o clock and there were porta cabins appearing,seems like things could be on the move.

Good news........a digger has been working all morning on the pool site!

Andy - thanks for letting us know that some progress is being achieved.

Here in London it is raining and quite cold - I think we must have had our summer last week!!!  Keep up the good work of lettng us owners in the UK know what is happening.  Hope to be back in September to see, hopefully, the new pool!

I have just had the ACTUAL building licence e mailed to me from Taray

For everyones information, it was typed up and stamped by one dept of Torre Pacheco town hall on 06th July, and stamped and signed by the Mayor on 08th July (Yesterday).

I will have all the wording checked by a Spanish neighbour of mine, but from what I can work out, all seems to be exactly as they advised at the last meeting
