Hi Gang,

We came home last Wednesday. In the morning I went into the sales office and then the customer service centre asking questions about the pool.

The response I got was exactly the same, the pool will be started in the next 2 or so weeks now that the objections phase is over. I assume that nobody protested as the sales office guy told me letters had been sent to Manzana (Block) 1 and the houses surrounding the pool area. Can't for the life of me think why anybody would want to buy there and then object??

But both guys said that the pool will not be finished until September/October time which is a bit of a bummer.

Still I did manage to get the keys to our letter box at last and opened it to find it full of Iberdrola bills but nothing from the council ref the objections notice??

And I also got the reprogrammed key to the car park. Maybe a little progress at last but not enough!!

As I said last week, I've asked my solicitor in La Manga to look at our contract again to make sure that Taray are contracted to build the pool and surrounding area. It's pointless talking about fee's etc until we know that we have a strong case against Taray and that they are actually in breach of contract is it??

Best regards Sicknote

Heard today that the meeting regarding the pool, whilst still to be held on Friday - will now take place at the sales office at 12pm and not at the centro civico as previously advised.

Still sounds like the good news that so many of us have been waiting for!!

Hi,

Coming to SC from Sweden this weekend, we´re staying ten days and wonder if it´s any meeting about the pool that we can enjoy during this time...... We strongly support you all who had act in this case and like to be there IRL. The picture of the leisure area look good but it would be even better if we can use it! Soon!

Have just returned from a meeting at Torre Pacheco, Taray, The Mayor and myself (with interperator)

I will let Taray go through the ins and outs of it all in detail at the meeting on Friday, but to sum up, it seems that Taray have been open & honest since the 1st meeting in August 08 !!

The mountain of paperwork I saw, and the explaination of the process given to me from the Mayor backs up what they have been saying. It had to go via a vote and and then a legal process which involved 21...yes 21 different people

Anyway, the final stamp from the Mayor will be in place in the next day or so, and Taray have PROMISED to begin work on the € 1 million project the very next day.

I think we are nearly there !

Andy

There was a meeting a few hrs ago and they said it will start next week. Pool to be finished in 6-8weeks and the whole lesiure area to be finished by the end of the year!

For taray owners (im assuming phase 1 only) can buy a heavily reduced yearly ticket or reduced pay as you go and people living outside will pay more expensive rates.

The pool will have a lifegaured by law and the site will probably be open 16hrs p-day.

Lets hope that this time its really gonna happen!

Thanks to Tina and Andy and anyone else involved with pushing for this to be done. I'm sure we speak for numerous owners who where not in a position to help due to not living there, that we are very grateful for all the time and effort you have put into this.

many thanks

Jan & Paul
