Julie ann - menu for famous lunch was a traditional spanish fare with plates in the middle to tuck into:-
Alumenda - choice was "Bullshit the mad brits again!" - a delicacy best served after 6 years of bullshit
Major in jumilla - choice was "raw cows intensines" - sure to make you sick
IWMH Brigade - choice the wine - "as they were obviosuly to pissed to remember the bullshit served up by alumendena"

I was not going to get drawn into the menu thing....but what the hell i cant resist,
Menu of meeting of Spanish conquistador builders and British bullied beef visitors.

Starter........Selection of hard to swallow snippets
Fish Course.......Very fishy stories and shrimpish details
Median.....choice of sneaky sorbet or british fool
Main Course.......Medalions of tripe served over leeks of information with side issues
Pudding..........Crap suzettes
Wine.......a well ballanced 2004 Chianti Deposit .........which was 3 years overdue

Joanniemac I have not posted because if IWMH interpret things correctly there will be no need and I will be able to say yes that's what was actually said. or no that is not what was said . To my mind there is nothing new just old stuff and empty promises with a new slant.The other reason is if I post IWMH will start to demand where my info came from and I need to protect this person as they have a lot more to lose than we have .

On a serious note for those who want their money back, as SARCO have met with SJ and the Major and claim to epresent purchaser, if the development was to go ahead to completion, or go ahead and collapse at a later dated, coukd a claim be made against SARCO.

Hi Julie ann, after we had all had a rant about the fact the meeting was held at all, then explained to in great depth that the guys/Linda were invited etc etc, we were then informed that the Major said that the notes could be released after the meeting but not to inform the general forum that a meeting was going to take place! hope im correct so far. Why would it be so difficult to post us a brief synospsis (even if it is only going to be supported by Lindas notes. I asked a couple of nights ago and had no reply. Now that Joanniemac has also asked, I may not get shot down. Not suggesting at all that you havent got this insider, but we quite honestly would ALL protect someone with that kind of inside track besdies which we dont want a name - just onformation..
So even if the notes are more of the same, perhaps you could enlighten us today.
Loved the menu idea... One popped into my head driving to work yesterday morning strangely (must have been thinking of their lunch date - however brief)
I just wanted to serve the President a stuffed knobbly pepper, insert it where the sun dinna shine then charge him 98,000 euros to call an ambulance (not - but guarenteed), then ask him how it felt to be one of Us Purchasers!

I think we give them too much credit an I think, in fairness we should lay off them a bit. They have tried to help(in their own way) and are only trying to acheive their objectives as we are ours. I feel sorry for them really as they are bound to be disapponted with whatever outcome arrives (as it will most certainly not be what they orginally signed up to even if a few houses get finished)
My own belief is that when they posted they had the truth, the whole truth and noting but the truth they were excited about coming back to share something positive with the group. After the aura of bull**** has worn off and given the hostility on the forum they have probably decided to make sure everything is factual before posting. It is at this point that they have realised that they have been fed a load of rubbish in order to try and stave off mass legal challenge and the withdrawal of deposits. they have probably realised that the administrators are just as dishonest as san jose and that the only place to find any real information is at court not round a dinner table with some of the most corrupt people in Spain. (maybe a slight exaggeration as there are many more)
Lets lay off them a bit as they are set up for the biggest fall of us all and I dont wish that on anyone.

out of interest as I dont know if I have ever read this..How many members do you represent and do these people want their house to the point of not seeking their deposits back or is this just a generic statement. many of us would want our house ideally in its original context but know this is not possible. have you sought your own clarification from the group as lawyers are so that you are truly representative. I would imagine many of your 'members' have also signed up for legal rep and have elected their deposits back.

I think you are exactly right with your last but one post . That is exactly what has happened.Its easy to get carried away when others are so positive but once on paper there is actually nothing new. As for freind in needs post I have said on many occasions that SARC should be very careful about who they claim to represent I for one have never and would never ask them to represent me .I have already taken legal advice about this and have told them many times not to claim to represent all especially with SJ and administraters to be precise and clear that they represent a minority .Iinfact I am blue in the face saying it.I hope one reason for the delay in posting the report is that they are taking the time to check the legalities. I also agree we should lay of them their intention is good but they really should try to listen to people more .

Ho Hum,
I wont spoil your fun. It is a shame when we include some one who I beileve you all respect and it is she who is writing the report that you rant and make inappropriate comments. Did love the menu jokes though!
I am personaly gratefull for Linda's and David's help. As for another version of the minutes I believe the Brothers Grimm were taking them.

Why did we not know this was happening ? I am sure many people would have had specific questions they would have liked to ask or have had the opportunity to have these Qs asked on their behalves.
Perhaps more people would have been able to go along , if asked to do so.
Not even the SARCO people new about these meetings .So nice of the leaders of SARCO to be so sure of what our fears and aspirations are without asking us, or asking if there are any particular points we would want them to raise. |

Yes I have spoke to someone who was there a Spanish person who was not relying on translation.As I have said before I am more interested the way IWMH interprate the information
