Well said Sally we are the same as you on our thinking, ideally we would want our house , (actually we put a deposit on 2 ) but happy for anything at the mo, as we could all end up with nothing.

Hi Tony and Brian. Thanks very much for the Report. I believe it was genuinely a true reflection of what was said. One particular statement has stayed in my mind and I cant shake it out... I am sure that they now want a dialogue of some description, and that they admit they have been lacking in the communication department, but the sentence where it says "there were 80 more purchases placed on a list waiting to buy on SADM". As our representative for SARC with the good of all purchasers in mind , is there any way you can offer one of the 80 mine!! Honest guys they could have it at the same price I paid 3 plus years ago. Prime spot etc etc. Do you have any idea what the next pricing structure might be when the build starts given the market situation at present in Spain? These 80 purchasers in waiting could have an absolute bargain. They would now only have to wait 12/15 months. Mine is in Phase I. How many other Forum members would sell their off plan to people waiting to purchase for an immediate return. Personally I'd reduce my price for my money back!!
I may have had a large glass of tinto but if SJ are so confident - would they sell our off-plan to their waiting clients - only to those who want their money back of course. It would be honourable. Then those who want their house still can and those of who it is now a last resort could have our money back...
Will I get shot for this one???

Hi Sally,
the way it is with the ley concursal is that they can only put people on the waiting list until they are either refinanced or gone into liquidation but from the administrators point and maybe the financers is that if they have a waiting list of people they couldn't take monies from until they get the funding then it makes the project look more viable to those money men as it shows that there are still people willing to purchase.
This is only my view as to what is happening I mabe quite wrong. But I don't think that if I have it wrong and if I have then I am to far off the mark.
please every one don't shoot me on this one it is just how I see it.

I don't think anyone can shoot you down for this . It is a very good point . It evidences perfectly the lengths SJ have and will go to , to feed us yet more bull for their own self interest believe me I have been dealing with them for 5 yrs now I know them well..
If this 80 people queuing up crap was true and lets face it can you imagine anyone in their right mind queuing up to snap up an unbuilt property when property prices are falling globally , with no build date , not to mention completion date, no absolute license without 4 mil being paid and 100 s of purchasers sitting with a real possibility of losing everything , not to mention the global credit crunch and banks and lenders behaving disgracefully and refusing to lend even to sound companies , and no real guarantee of financing because of falling land prices , land being SJ's number one asset. With builders ,agents and financial institutions going down the Swanee daily.
3 large reputable UK building companies have announced difficulties this week.
Lets all get real like you already have Sally , lets think this through it is all blatantly obvious when put into context with the global economic picture.That SJ are so scared of going under that they are saying anything and everything to save themselves . They change what they say depending on who they are speaking to. They should have thought about this long ago before expanding way beyond their capabilities .
If for one minute the 80 people PR stunt was true 80 of us could relax and sleep well tonight as Sally rightly suggests The 80 people waiting is total bull and is one of the oldest cons in the Agents/builders repertoire
I am insulted that they even tried this one on us .They must think we are stupid . I wonder why ?
All of this is only to be believed by Idiots and fools.

That sounds a good explanation to me. I have said for a while now that it would be impossible to offer any form of contract to a purchaser....for a sale or a swop, because of the administration.
But to have some customers is crucial to the builder for continuation. Thats why deposit refunds are bad news and IWMH is good news.
Its nothing to fight about between us, its just the commerciality of the situation from the builders point of view.

Hi Brian, I wouldnt disagree with your thoughts. But if this is the case, they are basically compiling a list of 'ghost' interested purchasers to make themselves look good to potential financiers. It sums them up very nicely if this is true.. Spin, dishonest and will tell anyone anything they think they need to hear. Tho Im sure potential financiers wont look at it our way. with any emotion. We Purchasers have another commodity that these people dont care too much and certainly havent got -but cant take away from us - a conscience .

Thanks always welcome constrctive feed back. next will be in larger font not shouting please we have been awaiting confirmation from the administrators about content of Linas report and our comment and have now reloaded the report which I believe that you will find is more indepth sorry but had to be sure that what we legaly OK on this

I think if any one reads the thread they will not only see that i have been polite. You obviuosly do not under stand that sadists dish out pain and it is masochists who seek it. I do not say that as a put down but out of surprise that you could make such a basic English language mistake. Is English not your first language?

Please, please, don't draw my attention the the English language when I read such deplorable grammar and disgusting spelling in so many postings and reports. Under stand is possiblly a location (under a stand), but not understanding. Hope I am correct as English is not my first language.
English is not my first language, of the six spoken that is, how about yourself.
It was found very helpful during the recent meetings I have mentioned, that Spanish is spoken and understood.
It is surprising what is missed during translation.
Perhaps that is why observations and findings were different to others read.
