BMI flight cancellation. Looking for alternatives please.

Greetings from a sunny Puerto Rey .

We have recently taken a booking for September from a guest who lives in Torquay. They were going to fly into Almeria airport with BMI from Cardiff (bit of a long trek isn't it?). I received an email last night saying an email had been received by them cancelling their flight to Almeria on the 7th September. They are looking for alternatives, so i said I would ask the great community that is EOS .

Other airport options are Murcia and Alicante, but I  don't know how they feel about driving the distance from Alicante. Any suggstions for airports/ airlines that can be accessed from Torquay to Almeria/ Murcia or Alicante please?

 Hi Mark.  I know people who have booked with bmi baby from Cardiff to Almeria to get to Villaricos.  Almeria is a new destination this year from Cardiff, and was much cheaper than flying into Murcia or Alicante.  But bmi baby have now reduced the number of flights available and then stopping them altogether.  maybe not enough trade.

Your tenants can fly from Cardiff to Murcia with bmi baby, Bristol to murcia with Easyjet, and I'm sure i remember a service from Exeter to murcia but can't remember the carier.  Good luck.

I think Flybe flies from Exeter to Alicante. Hope this is some help.
