It is actually recommendable to have 5 meals along the day.

A friend of my dad visited some indian reserves in northamerica and they had " merienda" ( that way called) because a spanish person spent a time with them and they kept the good use. Funny?

The spanish eating habits are a worldwide influence it seems! I cannot last from one meal to the next without a little snack in between or I feel dizzy and become irritable.

Not really.. you need a hot drink ( coffee withg milk, tea or cola-cao) and some sweet cookies or toasts with butter. That is the most typical merienda

I love all the bolleria aimed at children in Spain including bollycao mmm. I have just had what can be described as a bun with pepitas de chocolate. Maria I know m&ms aren't merienda I was just looking for a good reason to start eating the jumbo sized bag that I had bought for Justin's Dia del Padre!

all the bolleria is very good for merienda. I would have a napolitana de chocolate now. I am getting so hungry! I cannot wait to get home and see what I have left.
