Saw this article today about the growing Worldwide trend of charging credit/ debit cards in your home currency instead of local currency (i.e. Charged in GBP and not Euros). Seems to be a growing problem with many retailers breaking the code imposed on them by Visa. Some small hints on how to try and work it to your advantage.
