RECIEVING LOTS OF EXTRA SKY CHANNELS

I purchased two sky boxes last year and have been using them in my apartment in spain to receive the free to view channels ie bbc1,2, itv,chan 4 etc also some of the other channels you get on the free to view system. It has been working fine for last 4 months.
I came home from work on Tuesday evening to find the box i have located in the bedroom is now receiving lots of extra channels i could not get before ie sky 1, sky 2, mtv and loads of others. Obviously im not complaining about getting all these extra channels for free but just wondering how it has come about and will it be a permanent thing. i have asked other people and they dont seem to know how this can be.

Darn... Just tried it on ours and we aren't getting anything new!!

no it will not permanent...and it is not a special offer from sky...
it sounds like the cards original owner has got the card activated...maybe by mistake....
enjoy the chanenls whilst it lasts...
