El Pinet

So the electricity is going to be cut again in a months time.

Should we read this as ' no COH by the promised time again'? 

The non resident,  non payers of the electricity fee are not the ones who blame should be directed at, When I entered the agreement to purchase a property on El Pinet BOTH sides were aware of the contractual bindings. I have kept my part and have never signed away any part of that contract.

Politicians, green activists, SJ, and the council are responsible. Some of those could bring about a positive outcome if they wished. Perhaps if everybody withheld their IBI it might send a signal. 

The committee are only volunteers, remember you  could draw the short straw at some point!

If the people contracted to pay for the electricity PAID for it  there would not be a problem. Remember SJ are still trading. They have millions in assets. Simple.....SELL THEM

One thing is for sure. If we ALL did that our cash (note our cash) would not be getting used to either subsidise residents, others on site or be adding to the SJ balance sheet.

I would agree that everyone is entitled to their views, however warped.....

 and on a different matter only the Brits could seriously be contemplating electing  the same government in that has stuffed everything that was good with OUR country.

I am not trying to be condescending however I am totally frustrated with the general  lack of understanding of the bigger picture here  .SJ's plans are to "abandon" El Pinet until such time as they have finance to complete ,if at all  . God knows when that may be .Yet they seem fine with milking owners dry to pay off  their debts for utilities (completely illegal) however I do understand the dilemma residents and those with rentals are in ) sometimes the quick fix is not the correct answer in the long run .

It was SJ who urged the setting up of a community not  the best thing to do (in their best interest not ours )  and then splitting the sight into different sections Why ? I know why . Do you ? 

The community should never have been set up when it was as it now inherits the outstanding debts letting SJ off the hook .These things are all written in law but no  one seems to be taking proper advice .El Pinet has dug a very large hole for itself which will take years to fix.

Can't answer for Victor but  I have put my money where my mouth is and have paid for very good independent  legal advice  , Have  you  Vagabond ?

Could I make a suggestion, as it is in all our interest to see the El Pinet site finished!

Could a British Citizen make contact with Chris Bryant, Foreign Office Minister, as GMTV spoke about him recently when he intervened for some British Citizens who were to have their houses knocked down in Spain, as I am Irish citizen I think it would be better if a British Citizen contacted him and asked him to take a look at what is happening in El Pinet, and by the way he is also fluent in Spanish.

Have SJ  destroyed the  dream for ever ? If  SJ can not complete and plan to walk away until such time as they have finance, I don't see any answer to this other than the legal route .After all not all the companies in the group are failing. Where has the deposit money for the uncompleted properties gone  ? The site was  more than 75% sold ! ! Perhaps the judge should have called time on all companies in the group to get to the truth !

Sorry but I have been a bit of a plonker (nice one eh Boycey?). The Yahoo address should have ended with dotcodotuk.  I do not have any replies yet; either that's because I have just failed my basic NVQ test at cutting and pasting a simple dotcom address or its because everyone else is already following their own agenda.

I will also be visiting for a few days in April with some of my girl  friends , if these days are the same we could arrange a meet  to discuss. unfortunately for you my friends are  NSYSF so you will have to catch up with Bob for an update on the YSF's

Not sure if  Bob is over  at the same time ,however he seems to be casting his net much wider ,what with giving out his e mail and phone number .Never the less I am sure he is welcome to join our party and introduce us to all the YSF's  who called /e mailed him to arrange a meet .

Can you ask, one of the 18 residence when they intend holding the next AGM in July as I and am sure others. Would like to attend or have a proxy vote this time.

I thought the €60 + payment was a short term solution and not for the long term?

I feel sorry for the responce that we get and people like Bob who has not had many replies.

Direct from El Pinet a bit of good news for a change. The workers on site have advised that tarmacing of roads etc starts on Monday.  All other work street lights, drains etc has been done.

well anybody got any news of tarmacing???

or is it just another false promise??
